Beach running is very hard, I found. There was a horse track I ran up on Sunday that was kind of compacted sawdust stuff, and that was hard work too. I like tarmac."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Have run on beach once I think - very hard indeed - great for leg muscles though! My usual route is a mix of pavement and path through the woods, I do quite like a bit of mudDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I like tarmac too - mud is annoying when you are racing because you get stuck and cant get out fast enough!0

Fingers crossed hun!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Ohhhh, lol, talking of muddy paths, we went for a walk in the Cambridge countryside on Saturday afternoon, and I didn't think to change my footwear so was wearing very nice wedge sandals...we went down a path that seemed at first just lke a nice country path through some farmland, and suddenly it turned to the boggiest, most revolting path ever!!
I didn't want to look like a prissy girlie, so trampled through it anyway, but ewwwww, mud squelching between your toes isn't pleasant! AND I got stung by a nettle!!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
