Hello all, hubby phoned this morning to tell me the place where he works might be closing down.
I feel sick!
There's a meeting tonight to decide the business' fate.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Certainly was, He's been there for 15 years. He said he's not doing any work until he finds out what's happening. If there's no money for redundancy he's going to walk!

Too blinking right Linda, stay calm as possible until you know more, easier said than done and all that.
Well Miss Mazz, what a 2 weeks you have had;)
lovely to meet you and Erin though.
Well in dorset it is raining, just as i have stripped the beds! Hopefully a cheque from car insurance comes today, if not you will probably hear my screams in scotland. Had to spend my spending money on a cheapo car for john to commute in as they took our courtesy car off us last week so have no spending money to go on holiday on friday as yet!0 -
Morning all - really sorry to hear your news Linda, fingers crossed everything works out ok.
Had a really good weekend.. sooo don't want to be at work today

Was at a BBQ on sat night and rather surprisingly became friendly with a farmer... very nice he was too but don't expect to hear from him again....
Tis a bad time of year to be getting involved with a farmer anyway! it's harvest time apparently......I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
