  • Fingers crossed Linda.
Lovely piccie Luc - have a good holiday.
    Hugs Gemzie.
Good luck with the lunch Spud.

Today I have been to the dentist, picked up mail from the shop, payed a cheque into A&L and spotted that they need staff. Spoke to manager and have to drop my CV in. Loads of applications though and I'm not sure if my ever worsening credit score will rule me out but will give it a try.

Spent over an hour at Council Offices trying to sort out Council tax.

Just picked up my e-mails and a friend has sent me a link for a job at Loughborough Uni. Closing date is tomorrow so I need to rethink today's priorities.

    Fingers crossed for tomorrow Gemmzie.

We're having a mystery lunch. Found 3 tupperware boxes in the freezer with unknown contents. One is pea and ham soup, which DD has claimed but the other 2 could be anything. Wish us luck :p

Please report back afterwards otherwise we'll have to send in the emergency services....

They're both smelling chinesey - one's quorn mince and one is quorn chunks, can see carrot, green beans onions. I'm sure will be delish ;)

    Soup smells lush too :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

busy day Bookie - good luck with the uni application!

Strangest thing - i got a text from Big G... me n erin were going swimming yesterday and big g came too, perfectly nice, normal and platonic and quite fun.

he texted today and said not to get big headed but he was impressed with my new swimming moves (remember i only proper swim since lessons last year and i don't think we'd gone swimming as a family since that time)..... so i texted back and said thanks, as you do.

he then followed it with a second text to say "he was even more impressed with what was in the swimsuit. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. You've done really well. you looked great.

Now actually i was looking like shiite due to night of booze and snogging mr farmer but none the less....

    made me laugh!
