Ecover washing tabs & softener - however if I could find a cheaper alternative that was the same standard I would swap. Does anyone know of a similar product?

Having tried to use cheaper versions I have found all of our family cannot do without...

    Heinz Tomato Ketchup
    Heinz Tomato Soup
    Hellmans Mayonnaise

I have tried lots of different hair products but John Friedas Frizz Ease is streets ahead of anything else I've tried, I try and buy it when its on offer. My hubby cannot use anything but Wella.

If you can find a stockist then I can highly recommend the Footprint range.
They had this in Home Bargains a few months ago for pennies, I was sceptical but decided to give it a try and it worked very well. You only need a tablespoon per wash

I am very pleased with these laundry products, but they don't do a softener. I no longer use one for every wash.

Edited to add: I also like the Footprints stuff, but had (lazily) assumed that as it was in Home Bargains it was being discontinued.

Interesting point this. We don't drink tea in our house (not really a fan, myself) but we have some tea bags in a jar for when we have visitors. Almost everyone comments that it's a lovely cup of tea and asks which brand it is. The answer? Asda's own brand (not smartprice). Sometimes we tell those that ask, sometimes we say we can't remember (depends if we think the visitor will mind or not! :D)

Think I must have a very sensitive pallette- I can always tell! I help my mum at a weightwatchers group in several locations. I get offered a cup of tea in many places- I always taste "burnt" or "icky" (odd descriptions but not nice taste is what I'm getting at) everyone else seems to think the tea is fine, me, no matter how thirst or how much I want a cup of tea, I can't swallow....it makes me feel ill. Some have said I could maybe be tasting the re-boiled water rather then the t-bag. I think its both.

Pathetic I know, but I can taste the difference in what I have later found out to be economy brands vs PG pyramid bags. Am still convinced they add "something!!" Works for me anyway- its been over 10 years now!
