Talking of cat insurance plans anyone know of a good one? need one for Lily cat but I find it all a bit mind-boggling.
Think I'll get the hoover out and play with it round the downstairs, cat claws at the wallpaper and it's dragging everywhere. Need to buy a scratch post.
Triker Fab you've been out, hope you're not over doing it though0 -

More packing to do so I'll go and do DD2's things while she's occupied with The Night Garden.
Natty....I'm with everyone else. If she's that good a friend she wouldn't take advantage of you like that. Just tell her that it leaves you short so you will be needing it this month. It's her problem if she's short or has to borrow the money, not yours.
See you later. x0 -

Hello all
have just caught up as I was home early tonight, came straight home after my trip to Luton as wasn't feeling great. Feel much better now I'm home though. DH is on at me to take tomorrow off sick but I've a rather important meeting that will be a pain to reschedule so I want to try and go in. I have to go for blood tests to the Drs at 8.30am so a bit of a lie in (must remember not to have breakfast first!)
thought it was about time I posted a list. can't promise to get it all done but will try! I will probably get the bathroom done at least tonight and should be able to sort the kitchen floor - have already swept it but will need doing again by the time I've cooked dinner.

me again....also need some advice!!
Last night there was loads of screaming. At first we thought it was a child being wound up/upset but eventually realised it was our neighbours. I caught a glimpse out of the window and could see him shouting at her (they are an indian couple about our age). i got really worried and put the light on in the kitchen in the hope that they'd realise we were there and stop. DH then came in the kitchen and said 'it sounds like he's beating her up'. We didn't know what to do. I was all for calling the police but DH was worried that the consequences for her would be worse afterwards. We're still not sure if it was just a row or more but she was really screaming for about an hour.
Just wondered if anyone has any advice? I asked the woman in the shop downstairs if she'd ever heard anything and she said not, but if course she's only there in the day. I don't know them at all and have not even seen them out and about. I did wonder about going round to check if she's ok but can't be sure when he's in or out.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
I'd have rang the police, they should be trained to deal with such situations.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Day off and I'm much more knackered than if I was working! Think it's because I go flat out at work at don't stop for 8/10 hours whatever, whereas now I'm sitting down and semi-relaxing before dance class.
Me and OH did the bi-weekly food shop - £30 groceries, £10 in the weigh-shop and £18 on meat so not too bad.
One of my DDs collected early and bluddy A&L have charged me £25, even though the £ went in the same day.
I'm ditching and switching to Barclays - at least they only charge £8.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0
