That's great news Carlsberggal about the money worries and DS coming home! Great news!
Had a very productive 20 mins just then - washed up and completely cleared the worktop, including piles of veg peelings from when DH has been cooking and given the worktop a good scrub. It really needed it! It's not seen the light of day for ages! Still need to clear the hob so I can clean it, will probably manage to clear it when wash up next.
Have also got some food out of freezer for an easy tea as we are out this evening. Going to do an online shop now as the freezer is quite empty and I need to get some food in so I can do some freezer meals, or we will be tempted to get takeaways."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I have picked it, just have to order it all and get the bedrooms decorated and new carpets also my bedroom needs a complete new floor yay, how lucky i am! I may wait until the holidays are over but i am also having the bathroom done then too. Then i can bring people in to show it off woohoo, its only taken 5 years to get around to it.

Pigpen - how many cats are you up to now then?
Currently at 7.. :eek:toottifrootti wrote: »aaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhh pigpen they are gorgeous - and so tiny!!! hope they are recovering from their harsh start to life - have you got the Mum as well?
They are doing well.. getting used to being handled... whether they like it or not lol!!
I'm hoping to borrow a trap from cats protection or somewhere to catchthe mum, then have her spayed and rehome her.. she is very young still.Dustykitten wrote: »Piggers - sweet little mogs - why are they having a bath? I've never bathed a cat/kitten in all my years.
they were born in rubbish and spent 10 weeks scuttling around in it.. their mum doesn't appear to have taught them the virtues of bathing and they are filthy.. to the point the fur is crusty and crunchy and their white feet are dark grey.. they may start keeping themselves slightly clean now they don't taste so bad!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Piggers poor wee things
I have an extra person coming on holiday tomorrow - AF, how kind of her to join me especially as she is not due for over a week! I really think I'm heading towards the big M full speed ahead! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Pigpen - as DS has now moved out, at least the ratio of cats to children is working out nicely
:p
OK... I have to get my act together. I have two hours in which to get stuff done before I have to leave to go and sign my life away... so I also need to shower, dry my hair, work out what to wear and put on makeup...
Best print off the list so I know what I'm doing!0 -
Thrifty - We're renting so not quite in the same position, your sounds hard, but a least there good news too.
We had a viewing at an apartment today, it was a good veiwing, we'd be dealing direct with the landlord and he's very open, didn't yes us to death but was open to ideas. Tried not to think too much with my heart, I do tend to do think on a emotional rather than rational basis, but fortunatly OH is rational rather than emotional in these cases. I do think it would be a nice home though, and thats got to stand for something right!?!
Flying wise I've tided the kitchen (again) and the bathroom, made the bed and dusted the dustgatherers, gonna have to kick the flying up a notch if were moving soon though, Sky City will need a little TLC before we hand the keys over.
Pigpen - The kitties are gorgeous, trying to convice OH that a cat would be a better pet then a gecko but he loves lizards, wanted one for ages...I think I'm losing.
carlsberggal - Congrats on the windfall!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Neveah and Blimus's DS, hope you both have great times. Now MARRIED!11/09/100 -

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek just had CC bill in and it is more than I expected, too many visits to the vets plus car insurance. Worried that a catalogue return which I free posted has not shown up and I don't have a proof of postage. No tax credits anymore either plus they say we owe them loads. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
