Toots - you made me laugh, DS3 is always saying sheesh. Glad your stitches are out, are you happy with the decorating?

    Burp

I am the same. I leave people on the step. It is only the last few weeks we have had a babysitter that I will let in and that is because her house is as bad as mine :) and her mum is a cleaner !!

I always thought it was me but then I have slowly come to the realisation that there are a lot of people out there with dirty houses (mine is untidy not dirty) so am becoming a little bit better but still will not let certain people in and especially if it is not a planned visit !!

    Hi all
NOT having a good day - can't even get this font to change to black. DD being a snot...DS not able to settle at all (teething)...I'm seriously thinking of emigrating. Alone.

In addition to being a snot DD is still complaining she is hungry and has been eating all morning. What's that all about then?

I seriously doubt I'll get any of this done, but let's see...

Is she going down with something? I'm always terribly grumpy and terribly hungry when I'm getting ill - I think my body wants extra fuel so it can fight the illness

Spose I ought to do some more flying. Got to wash up and finish tidy the LR floor and possibly even clean the bathroom

HHC anyone? starting at 12:30...join me if you can

Could be...I'll keep an eye on her, just in case. It's unusual as she is usually a pretty determined non-eater (and always has been!)...Hope she isn't coming down with tonsillitis again...

Right....DS is now asleep...gonna fly for a bit...

    See you later!

    Afternoon all

Not caught up yet, watched WDYTYA this morning, very good.

Two loads of washing out on the line, including the bedding I stripped off yesterday. It's sunny and it's drying well.

Not checked the lists yet but I've done the bathroom and toilet today and also polished the living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs. ETA picked the right stuff again so another star please :)

Just did some updates on Vista so I hope it doesn't mess up again. Fingers crossed it's been better since I uninstalled service pack 2 last weekend. *touches all the wood around*

Hope everyone's OK, off to catch up now.
  • Afternoon lovelies, didn't post yesterday though I did read through the thread.

FFP - can't add anything else, just look after you and yours and hope things get sorted soon
    Neveah, Happy Birthday :bdaycake:
    Blimus DS, Happy Birthday :bdaycake:

Toots - glad stiches are out, hope your behaving;)
    Pigpen - sooooooooooo cute

Can't remember a blooming thing - so sorry anyone I've missed, hugs to all that need/want them

Done dailies before work, loaded, wm, hung out washing, loaded dw, bleached all the usual areas

ExH been into my work this morning, he had said about three years ago that it was his fault I didn't have a pension, he always said to me "you don't need one we have mine" (we had our own car sales business). Anyway upshot of it was that we couldn't split his pension as it wasn't in the divorce papers. But we have 3 endowment policies that we have had for, 23 years, 22 years and 20 years, worth f£ck all to what we have put in. He claimed them in the divorce, well to be truthful I said he could have them as he was letting me have most of the equity in the house if I left the business alone.
Am rambling - so hang on in there!!

So the upshot is we are surrendering them and he received the first cheque yesterday so came in with a cheque for half of it for me £4554!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Now I should be saving it all to put into a pension, but this one has come out with us getting around £500 more each than they said, so MONEY WORRIES OVER!!!!!:T:T:T

Just need to see what the other 2 bring.

On an even brighter note DS is COMING BACK FOR 10 DAYS LEAVE ON SATURDAY:j:j:j He's back in Munchengladbach friday then driving over on saturday, long drive to West Yorkshire!!! But he's used to it now.

Sorry for the ramble, but I did do some flying as well LOL xx
