Rosepink I quite agree that its not nice to be ignored like that so why dont you try to work out a compromise with him - something like that he only goes on the games after an hour with you chatting or tidying - no games no pc or tv unless its a joint decision - maybe that would work - be you will both have to stick at it for at least 3 weeks for it to make a huge difference I think - 2or 3 nights wont tell if its helping. I am sure its his way of unwinding but its also coming between you.
That's a really good idea, we do need to have some tv free and computer free evenings or part of the evening, that's a great plan. I will talk to him about it when it's a good time. I am glad he's found a hobby he enjoys so much, I have lots of hobbies so I'm glad he's got one too, we just need to find a bit more balance. Thanks Toots! Glad you had such a nice nap this afternoon and hope your shopping went well.

    twinks hob nobs:T

this is the recipe i use
    8oz sr flour
    8oz sugar
    8oz porridge oats
    8oz margarine
    1tbsp golden syrup
    1tbsp hot water
    1/2 tsp bic soda
mix flour, oats and sugar, melt marg, syrup and water in a pan stir in bic soda and add to dry mix, mix well, make smallish balls and put on greased tray and flatten slightly with a fork, 180oc for 15 mins, cool on the tray, you just want them golden in oven not brown

Hi, is it possible to alter this recipe and use some rice crispies and nuts, raisons and maybe even some chocholate? I wouldn't know how to alter the ingredients. Would I replace the rice crispies with some of the oats? Could it work if I replaced all the oats with a mix of rice crispies and the nuts and raisons? Does anyone know? I've make the hobnobs a few times and love them but would like to try to add a few things. Please can you help?

    Thanks in advance. Esther

  • Morning lovelies - feeling a bit rough, but it's cos I over indulged last night! Went out straight from work - not a good idea when you miss dinner  We met up with best friend and some others in local, made a complete t$t of myself on karaoke. I think I have a carp voice, others disagree, but I think they are just being kind!! LOL Staggered home at about 11.30. DH has gone to work about an hour ago and I'm sat with my 3rd coffee plucking up the courage to get dressed and do the food shop.

DS not home today :o He texted yesterday, blooming army are useless at times. He's been in Cyprus on exercise and should of been going back to Munchengladbach yesterday to then set off today for long drive home. But nope, he was sat in Birmingham airport. They'd gone from Cyprus to Birmingham to then go to Munchengladbach to end up coming back to us about an hour and a half or so drive from Birmingham?! What's all that about?

Love and hugs to all, caught up but have forgotton everything I've read!!!
