She must love her job! Making people smile every day when she delivers flowers! :A

ah but they also deliver flowers when someone has lost a loved one so there will be some sad tears in there... but yes I think it must be a pretty nice job most of the time.. and very rewarding... And you get to work in a shop that smells nice! :D

    I like flowers

    Hiya everyone
I've had a fab day with my sister. We've just done the 'buy all the chocolate in the shop' trip for her to take home. Before that we took all the children to a national trust place with a big park. We had a lovely chat whilst they played. I'm going to miss her so much!!!

Does anyone know where I can get a traditional tea cosy for her. She really wants one of those crochet type, maybe with a pom pom....any colour, anything....lol. We saw some in lakeland but she wants one like your gran might have knitted? Has anyone seen any anywhere as we've trawled the charity shops but can't find one.

S/S here and there today. I'll be back on board on Monday when she goes home.

Hugs to everyone. Sorry i've not caught up but i'll be better next week.

    0002035E.gif ................my crumble was great!

Aw - that must be the best part about her job! Like pigpen says, imagine all the funerals and stuff....

Ive tidied the kitchen, decluttered some of the mess I made earlier, Hung up wet washing, cleaned the bathroom again and rehung clean shower curtain. Chucked most of the ironing back in the cupboard under the stairs and left out a reasonable amount to do tomorrow.

Have remade my bed as I dont want to sleep in the spare room again. Had to tumble dry the bedding in the end to get it dry enough to go back on the bed.

So im ready for bed now....and off to watch the shawshank redemption which i love.

See you all tomorrow - and if i dont.................... 00020287.gif

Ooooh - off to see if i have a weekend list....

    HI folks

Toots I hope you are not over doing all it and are getting plenty of rest as well.

Plan of action sorted for this weekend, it involves top soil :D a large shovel, rake and wheel barrow, and a nice young man!! :rotfl::rotfl:
too much rest!!!! decided to have a nap this afternoon as i was going out with one of my support workers this evening to do food shopping - I slept for over 2 hours!!!!!!! thank goodness one of my friends phoned or I might have been sound for ages - I was very comfy in my 'electric' chair!
Your weekend sounds interesting - is it the same young man who did the concrete?;)
jo your crumble is making me drool you bad girl! but thanks for the slo cooker idea - that will be going on tomorrow.
oh boddy I hope you havent caught the flu - hope its just a bug and you feel better tomorrow.
Rosepink I quite agree that its not nice to be ignored like that so why dont you try to work out a compromise with him - something like that he only goes on the games after an hour with you chatting or tidying - no games no pc or tv unless its a joint decision - maybe that would work - be you will both have to stick at it for at least 3 weeks for it to make a huge difference I think - 2or 3 nights wont tell if its helping. I am sure its his way of unwinding but its also coming between you.
jo its an idea for christmas though? and you would have time to search the net for a reasonable priced one - and you will be back in work long before then anyway!
rach glad you got your tests done ok - enjoy your walking tomorrow - i do envy you being able to walk and walk to your hearts content.
I am becoming such a pathetic lazy lump. I am also glad i dont have a TV as i would hate to turn into a daytime tv fanatic - I cant understand people who slob about the sofa watching daytime tv all day when there are jobs to be done but I can see how it could happen. it would be so easy to fall into the routine of watching stuff and then getting fed up with the mess and not knowing where to start - eating in front of the tv - falling asleep on th sofa - more tv - yes I do think I might end up a right slob!!!!:rotfl:
mudders - there are loads on ebay but that doesnt help you instantly - have you a wool shop anywhere near - they often have them for sale up here
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

I love my slow cooker toots....Its the best thing I ever got for my kitchen.

I love being able to chuck everything in and leave it and not have to worry about cooking later. You can also make extra and freeze it.

Yes i thought about your suggestion, if i cant afford it before then he will be getting it then! xx

Edited to add - Ooooohhhhhhhh i've found an even better one - an aran jumper one! I really need to get a life!! xx

Have had the washer on a clean wash. Everywhere is tidy so Im going to take some paracetamol and go off to bed with my book. Hope the music next door goes quiet soon. Its not a problem every night just now and again. I dont know whether its the son or his mum having a manic episode. Will close my bedroom door and hope I cant hear it.
