Yep already done some adverts - to be stuck up here there and everywhere - have done a search and i think £25 is a reasonable call out charge, bearing in mind that the customer would then pay for whatever was wrong with the machine - i think by advertising locally the petrol costs wouldne be too high - its worth a go anyway dont you think??

    Hey dotty,

Congrats on having the big pay-in - let us know what you make in interest! Ha ha! Remember Lenny's £10k!?!

Re. £25 for a call-out, I think you could charge more, like £25 an hour but it depends what the going rate is. What do other people in your area charge?

Hey SS - was thining perhaps £25 initial call out - then £25 per hur - but what if its a virus removal say - i have a fixed price for this in the shop or would you charge differently as in £25 call out then £25 per hour after - regardess of what service you are providing?

    Hi Dotty

Sounds like a good idea and I'm sure that there is a decent market for it without you having too many additional costs.

£25 for a call out plus what you would charge in the shop for the work completed sounds reasonable to me - based on an assumption that it would take the same time for you to do the job, provided its local.

You can always try it and if you think its not worthwhile put the price up for some things.

Hi Dotty happy to hear you're feeling a bit more positive. Can you find out what other charge for a callout? Big hugs...did you manage to sort the payments out with CCCS?

Hey lady, just popped on to say hi, you're doing great love.

Brill idea about callouts - guy on the market has had to shut his market stall so he can cope with all the extra repair work he's doing! £25 callout sounds good, then whatever it costs in shop to fix. I personally am always suspicious of people charging by the hour - you never know if you're going to end up paying for numerous tea/toilet/chatting breaks, and if they won;t just spin the time out. Advertise like mad and see what happens.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500

Hi everyone - well it's been a tough couple of weeks i'm afraid - both emotionally and financially - OH's mum doed last week, funeral yesterday.......she hasnt been well for a while however, i dont think anyone knew just how unwell she actually was so it was a real shock. She was in intensive care for a few days and passed away last week.

As you can imagine we have been through the ringer.........

On top of everything, we havent been able to work for 2 weeks as we have been at the hospital every day.........

I'm at my lowest ever - although I have paid my first CCCS payment and am paying my mortgage on Friday.............

So - im back on here for some major support you guys as i guess im gonna have a tough few weeks ahead of me.
