Oh yeah forgot to tell yall - at my shop today (run own business), noticed an official woman walking up n down the high street looking very sweaty and stressed - she was going into each shop.

When she came in mine - guess who?? :rolleyes: an MBNA rep trying to get me to sign up for a Business Credit Card (after INITIAL period - approx 17.9% APR) I said NO THANKS!!:T

I thought cheeky gits ! :eek: talk about touting for business -wonder how they would feel if i put an advert for my shop on their website or in a branch etc!!

She had loads of filled out forms so some mugs will have been suckered in

But OH NO - not this MUG - lol:rotfl: :rotfl:

I've just read some of this thread and it sounds to me if times are hard for you, dottyanne. Havent really much constructive advice but would like to wish you luck. Its really horrible when it all goes wrong and it seems like you take one tiny step forward and 4 or 5 enormous steps back. So best of luck. Hope things get better for you soon.

Thanks tes, things are kinda hard at the moment but im trying to be optimistic!! It took years for my debts to build up so I cant expect to be rid overnight (oh - how i wish!!). Just got to keep motivated!!! Thanks for your comments and taking time to read through my diary!!! dotty xx

Yes its so difficult to keep motivated and not to keep wishing the time away. I do it all the time. So well done for staying optimistic. You are doing very well.

Hi tes - you've hit the nail on the head!! Trying to stay positive - but it's an uphill slog sometimes!! Are you any nearer to clearing your debt (if you have any?)

Wow, dottyanne. Have just read thorugh some of your diary (admittedly not all) you have some wonderful support here on mse, and am glad you have welcomed it.

You have tremendous detemination, and for that I :T you.

Yes everyone has ups and down, 1 step forward and 2 back etc. But glad to see you don't let them grind you down!
I think thats the key, no giving in, till you get where you are going.

It's all so easy for us all to throw the towel in and think "what the h$ll", but what would the point in that be?
I think with your terrific determination, and the long term goals set firmly in place, you will be a winner in no time!

I don't have anything construction really to offer you, but just wanted to let you know, that your a star girl! :A and wish you loads of luck, support, and hugs too xxx

I have made LOADS of people who i would consider friends on here - some people are so supportive i find myself telling them when i'm up or down or something has happened in a day. I think it not only helps me to stay focused but to also help others who may stunble across my thread!!

Ive had a weekend of it really!! :eek:

My grandma (bless!) has had another bad fall and dislocated her shoulder on Friday night so ive been in and out of the house helping with her house and taking things up to hospital - she's ok now - just a bit sore - but it really makes you appreciate how people are so much more importnat in life than materialistic things and dare i say it - DEBT!!:rolleyes:

I'm doing a bit of catch up on the pc today with my finances so will ost later with a financial update - but just thought id give a presonal update for yall in the meantime

Oki doki - got backache from sitting hunched over all my paperwork and the dreaded bills - seem to be stuck in limbo - as soon as one bills paid theres another waiting to take it's place in the que of unpaid bills!!!!

Major woory is this bloody egg loan - need £381.80 asap to get up to date - although havent gone through budget as yet so i will have to see where im at with it??

The egg loan is in hubbys name and im dropping back to my old ways of not telling him things not to worry him etc, know it's wrong but ive been in the habit of being so secretive with my, sorry our debts for so long now i dont seem to be able to stop??
