Id carry on paying Capital one directly, and phone them and sweetly say " i think there has been a mix up, I have paid you, I will continue to pay you dont I only, I'll have another payment in a few weeks etc"

    That should help x

Yep, absolutely, as Im guessing its 220 as they kind of hadnt recieved the 100 by the time the statement was printed?

At the end of the day you are paying them, and the nicer you are about it ( "Ive managed to find the money for you just as is such a priority" blah blah)

The more you speak to them on the phone, the better they are is my opinon.

Hiya Lynz - gonna write to them again, copy the statement and inform tehm the £100 should be off that, also why have they passed the account to Debitas?? I'm not contacting or replying to Debitas at all and will only deal with C One . Do you think I should either try to pay the balance after teh £100? Tell them I want them to stop charging me later payment, over limit charges etc or what ? I reckon if we got back the charges theyve made againt us over the years the £980 or so would be cleared anyway?? HELP!!

I'm gonna write to them again I think and ask them to get Debitas off the case? Some good news for once Egg Loan now under £20K (this was/is our biggest debt!!) was nearly £28K until i cancelled PPI!! I know it's still an awful lot of money to owe someone but at least it's coming in the right direction!!

Also I'm so sick of jugggling money - any one else sick of it too??

GOD Im fuming today!! nothing to do with money exactly but im just sick and tired of other peoples expectations towards me and money, and families in general; im posting on the marraiges and relationships thread at the moment as im having some family trouble probably mainly due to myself being insecure and paranoid so im sorry to have a moan on here. just wondered if anyone else thought they were a loser big time in other aspect of life aswell as money coz i do!!

Never, ever think you are a loser. You aren't. Don't be hard on yourself - thinking about yourself in a negative way is VERY unhealthy :)
