    I'm ok thanks BTD.
I love CDWM but rarely look up the recipes- am often too busy fuming at someone on it!!

Another PAD of £20 today. Have cheated a bit and held back my PADs this month for the 1 debt in 100 days challenge. Since I'm clearing the whole debt it would have been too confusing to put the payments through separately. I'll have to continue doing this for the next few months. Anyway PADs so far meant I could pay £165 off my debt today so my 1 debt in 100 days ticker is

    debt.png

Also paid £3.03 to virtual sealed pot.

I still need to look at my budget for the next few months to make as many savings as I can!

Have done some reading and feel even more inspired to declutter!

    From 'In The Red'
"I've been so busy trying to buy the life I think I should be living, that I can't afford to live the one I have"

I was also reading the Simple Living Guide and thinking about how much of my stuff causes me more stress than pleasure. I don't want to spend most of my life cleaning, ironing and decluttering because I've got too many things. Once I've finished my use it or lose it challenge I'm going to make a real effort to carry out a one in one out system. That way I will only get new things I really love or need as I will have to chuck out something I already have. Since I don't like throwing things out it will hopefully keep me going in the right direction!

It's so hard to declutter and keep it that way though as naturally things are brought into the house. I am trying to chuck more out each day than is brought in if that makes sense.

Makes lots of sense. Hopefully now I'm only buying essentials for a while less will be brought in!

the simple living guide sounds good Jellie.

I really like your idea of one in one out. Once my debts are paid off and I actually have a little spare money to spend on me, I will definitely apply that to kitchen utensils/appliances, books and clothes! As they're the things that seem to grow the quickest.

Won't it be lovely when we can treat ourselves again! Hopefully by then we'll make more careful purchases and really appreciate them.

Thanks SH- I'll be backing off for a bit while I'm back at work. First priority is all the house move stuff and if it is less stress to pack it all up and declutter later then that's what I'll be doing!

Lemon Tree- I'm sure we'll all get there eventually. Baby steps and all that!
I'm amazed that having dumped loads of things over the Summer I still have way too much stuff.

Another NSD yesterday and a £20 PAD. Another £20 PAD today too!

Yesterday I tried a couple of new recipes- a Gary Rhodes crispy parmesan chicken with Bill Granger spicy potatoes. Had to rope OH in as I mistimed slightly but it tasted good!

We also got more grocery shopping £31 but OH paid! Love him!!
