hmmmm some good uses... might actually use some of it to clean my chrome wing mirrors on the car, I'm sure my car would appreciate it!!
Thanks for that Jel0 -
well done on the sorting too hun.
I never used to use lotion either but got into the habit of using it after every shower, not its a bit of a habit, just as well as people keep blimmin buying it for me!
Need to do a bit of an inventory check to see if I can go without buying any until my dfd.... dec this year!!!0 -
hmmm think im going to need to buy more stuff at somepoint, think I'm going to try and slip it into the grocery budget over the year.... going to try and use less shampoo and conditioner as I use handfuls at the moment!!!0

Thanks Missy- I really appreciate your posts and those of my other regulars.
Hope you can eek the toiletries out too. I've had to join the 100 day challenge to help with that one as despite my stocks things toiletries have been known to jump into the trolley when grocery shopping!! Really want to crack the habit- it's all very well buying them on offers but there is a limit to what you can use....and I'm sure having boxes of this kind of stuff makes my brain feel cluttered too!
I'm just as bad with cleaning stuff.
I'm sure in my brain buying things equates with things getting done. Buying lots of cookery books is really the same as cooking lots of exciting, healthy meals doesn't it??

hun I am sooo with you with all of those things, trouble is OH is twice as bad as me, he has more deodorants and showergels than I do
And why can't I just buy one or two when they're cheap, not 9
Well atleast we know where all our money goes :rotfl:
And I dont know if my OH is trying to tell me something but between him and his mum they got me nine cook books for christmas
:eek::rotfl:

My OH is pretty bad too! Also deodorants and shower gels. At least we're both getting them on offers though.
Nine cook books!! I'll know who to come to for recipe ideas
How are they shaping up?
I'm trying to work out which ones I like and which I don't really use in the next few months so I can eventually have a cull! Use it or lose it!!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
the cookbooks? Ok actually, I got a hugh fernly whats his face one which is ok and I got jamie at home and 3 covent garden soup books as I love soup.
My fave ones though are a veg patch one and a preserves on and a bread one they are little books by hugh fernly whats his face again. I've used them loads all ready, as I'm wanting to start a veg patch this year.
My fave of all time though is one my mum got me and is the good house keeping cook book, she bought it when I moved in with OH. It's excellent really explains things and goes right back to basics if you need it.

Good luck with the not buying things - I am terrible with bogof offers and tend to over stock. When I run out tho I get really disgruntled as I hate paying full price.... which feeds the habit...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've just been looking through a couple of cookbooks writing down the recipes I want to try in my notebook!savingholmes wrote: »Good luck with the not buying things - I am terrible with bogof offers and tend to over stock. I know what you mean. I think when I'm using the last of something I'll allow myself to look out for offers...I'm sure that will be long enough. 2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
