Menu plan time!
I'm trying to use some of my recipe books more by trying out new recipes. Over the next couple of days I'm going to try a couple of potato side dishes from Bills Open Kitchen- mini potato gratins and spicy potatoes.

In terms of main courses for the next few days I'll be living out of the fridge and freezer

2. Fishcakes, potato side and Mediterranean roasted veg

Better go and fly a bit more before I have to go out2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Hello Jellie,:hello:
So sorry I haven't been around to post, have just caught up on your diary, and my word you are doing amazingly well especially keeping on track to have everything paid off by your birthday, you are my motivation to get mine paid asap.:T
And I too am part of the blankie, notebook club:D but I have to say oooooh how jealous am I, a slanket!!! I want one!!! *** kicks her sad normal blankie off the sofa in disgust*** And I want a new note book!!!! Not allowed to buy anything though..... hmmmm might hint to OH as he bought his mum a slanket for christmas... but he's on a MS kick at the moment too..... or could poss make one out of my blankie:think: **** picks blankie back up off the floor***..... as for the notebook I'm sure I NEED one, to write all my meal plans and resolutions in...... think I'm going to have to raid the copper jar and get the patchwork one from tescos I've been wanting for months.....
Your meal planning sounds good jellie, I like your ideaas, I too am trying to make things that I don't usually, we always seem to have the same things:rolleyes:
I really need to declutter too, it's amazing how good you feel after it, really must get my a*se in gear.

Great to see you Missy- thanks for making me laugh....a lot!
Another PAD £20 today. I'm not quite on track this month to make the payments I need but I'm hoping I'll pick up pace again next month. Plus if the house sale goes through I'll be able to use the money I'd usually pay for mortgage etc to debts. Don't want to rely on it though as things are moving very slowly and I'll also be paying out for storage.
I think I've found a part used notebook that I can use for meal planning etc for the next few months. I hope you can get a bargain if you do decide you need one.
I think everyone on MSE is on a declutter, mealplan and try new recipes kick! There are a few inspiring threads to follow!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -

There are some other good threads about on meal planning etc.
I'll try and post the links later.
Pretend I've just bought a brand spanking new notebook if it helps
Spends yesterday on petrol £21.29 and groceries £15.29.
Hoping the snow will encourage a couple more NSDs in the next couple of days.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -

Don't feel bad Missy- I'm not back to work until next week. I try to do a proper flylady week every holiday so that in between I can just do a bit of cleaning here and there to keep on top of things.
Having checked out your diary I'm going to copy your toiletry sorting idea when I do the bathroom. As part of the use it or lose it challenge I need to start using more of my toiletries. I need to get into better routines to take care of myself in the week but more importantly I'm going to steal the idea of sorting out a basket of toiletries to treat myself with at the weekends. To start with I'll aim to use at least one over the weekend. Things like hair masques and body scrubs and skin lotions which I seem to think that the act of buying them will make me look and feel better without using them
Have almost finished the kitchen so I'd better go back and update my list. I'll break for lunch and start on the lounge. Having not done a decent clean for ages this is taking tons of time!! 1 1/2 hours so far on the (small) kitchen and I still need to clean the cooker and fridge and sort out some cupboards :eek:2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
