Lucky you! I'm really missing London ATM. I was going to pop uop this week as only DH was going to be in the house he lodges in, but he's been away too,so plans changed
I should warn you now, I'm barely a man. I have orange shoes.
tee hee. and DH wears pink :eek:I know what you mean. Maybe we should call it 'rhinestone' instead. DollyWood here we come! Diamante is cool now, apparently. Swarovski use it.
Hmmmm. Mixed blessing. I'me always somewhat magpie-ish (if its shiny I like it) but, not at all swarovski-ish. I was given some swarovski in a ''party bag'' a few yars ago and gave it to the daughter of a friend. Its just too......something.0 -
The sunshine has made everyone cheerful today!!
Goanmad, have a good time!!
Orangeprose, i always 'steal' my husbands aviators, they are so cool!!
Floss, nice that recognition is given to the 'fashion' board!!
Alexnikov, please don't put anything off untill you loose weight, you should be wearing those summer dresses NOW!!! We have only probably got 2 days of sunshine anyway!!
Very jelouse of all the 'posh' charity shops!!
Wearing my purple sundress with a vest underneath, to keep my dignity:), silver barratts sandles, silver bangles.
Just taking dogs and kids down to the prom to burn off some of their energy, then to take some stuff back to matalan.
Just a thought peeps, but maybe at the start of the daily thread we need to put an intro (like os daily) something like, 'Feel free to post all welcome, please be nice and refrain from criticising, but please post questions, ideas etc' What do you all think??? Tell me to go away if you think it's a carp idea.
Love Sharron xxxxSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -

I think its a good idea. But I still think it would be better as a weekly not daily thread

Love the idea.....and also loving our orange-shoe wearing chap braving the waves of criticism to join us! :T0 -
I'm wearing a nice pale blue, long sleeved (rolled-up), double-pocketed suit. er... a boiler-suit.

Plus black socks, boxers and work boots.
Thats all. Well, it is 50C+

Hi All
Am a Newbie to MSE, hope you dont mind me joining you!
Today, after Mr Weathermans promise of some sunshine I opted for:
- Floral Top, in purples and greens - £2 Primark
- Black waist belt - Magazine freebie
- Thin grey cardie - £7 H&M
- Black skinny jeans - £12 Matalan
- Silver Flip Flops - £10 Office
Though I am currently sat in my office, staring at a very grey sky, and wishing my feet werent so cold! Mental note to self - dont believe everything the Weatherman says!!
Am very jeleous of you all having 'posh charity shops' seemingly on your doorstep. Here in Devon I dont appear to be quite so lucky!Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0 -
Morning all you regulars and hello and welcome to new posters on the thread!! This thread has a great lively vibe to it today!
Thinking about Sugarspun....think her baby was due on Monday just gone.
.....great idea Sharron.....this thread is also a good chance to discuss little incidental MSE fashion topics that crop up but may not quite merit a thread of their own!
Love hearing your inspirational outfits, makes me try a bit harder with what I've got and have been using the charity shops more as a result. Yesterday got a gorgeous soft orange leather/leather look (don't know don't care really, it looks the biz!!) belt for 50p . Not a very brave belt wearer, but this looks great with some of my white/cream stuff:T
Today's outfit is
my turquoise Tu linen top (£12 bargain Sainsbury's) with narrow legged white cropped pants (Principles sale) and that's it, since I'm just doing bits round the house and garden today.
Enjoy the sunshine!0 -

are there no good ones in Exeter or South Hams? Thats a shame: usually the ''posher'' areas have the ''poshest'' cast offs. Also, areas where older people tend to retire to sometimes have an amazing, amazing source of vintage fashion.
