Well done on the sales thats a really good day 'extra' moneywise.

Oooh and I've just noticed your signature. Have you a plan which is being attacked first?

Yep - the Marshall Ward account, at the stupid interest rate - that shall be gone by the end of September:D

I'm daft as I like to stash money into my savings account instead of paying off the cards....but that account needs to go:rolleyes:

I will need to save some for Christmas too....sadly that'll be round before we know it!
I really need to sort out a new signature!
  • Yes that interest rate is scary!! I don't mind owing money as such (sometimes its necessary) but giving them that amount back in return really goes against the grain doesn't it

Yes my thoughts exactly! I don't worry too much about the Virgin card as it's 0%, Egg is just out of the 0% - hopefully co-op will give me another to transfer that balance to.

What riles me the most about Marshall Ward and those other catalogues is the fact that they slap a £12 charge on if I'm late or miss one month - the charge just goes on now without me receiving a letter...grrr:mad: It doesn't cost them £12 when I'm late....sooooo infuriating (but yes I know I shouldn't be late, but sometimes I just forget:o)

    Hi Milly

Great news on the Ebay sales :D

Love orange Wednesday have never been to the cinema so much as we have lately.

Not that you need reminding but xmas is 16 weeks away;).

:wall: selfish ex needs a kick up the a$$.
  • If you worked out the interest you will be charged just for the Next, Marshall Ward and Littlewoods I'm sure that will help spur you on as you will save so much in the long run by blitzing them.

Like you say the 0% are not too much worry as long as you keep track of the end dates. I put the alarm on the my mobile phone for a date in time to apply for a new one to coincide with the ending 0% IYSWIM. Infact I use my mobile phone to jog my memory of a lot of things because its virtually glued to me so wherever I am it reminds of stuff I would ordinarily forget :o Plus internet banking is a life saver for me too.

I'm sure my Egg card was coming off the 0% in September...might check up on that, am convinced it was Sept, but when I checked my online statement some interest has now gone on...grrr:mad:
And I love my internet banking too - I check it more than once a day:rotfl:

    Morning:D
The £12 from Amazon has arrived in my bank account - so I've paid it to the Marshall Ward account - just £85 to go;)

Off to Tesco later to return the 2 bits and buy cheap popcorn for the cinema trips this week. Need to post my ebay parcels too and tidy up....will think about a list:p
