Hi Milly, right missy lets get blasting that Marshall Ward
Do you have a plan at all? Any surveys or anything nearing payout?? How long do you think it will take you to clear it, could you aim for clearing it by the time you start your course?

Hiya BB hun,
My 2 scratch accounts are quite low right now, £4 and £2, so no payout there. I do have stuff on ebay, nothing that's going to make me my millions though:rolleyes: But...just remembered I have £12 from Amazon on it's way and £30 from Paypal...so I'll earmark that money for the nasty Marshall Ward account.
I must, must try and get my head round MB this week - I've read the huge thread twice, so let's aim to go for a third time this weekend!
And yes, I shall get that card paid off before Uni (which is 28th Sept).....there, I've said it, I have to do it now:rotfl:
Thank you:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Good advice & motivation Milly from BB & KM, have you thought about writing reviews on dooyoo for additional income.
Good luck with the Co-op card.
So it's blast the Marshall Ward and then maybe bash the Next card.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:mad::mad::mad:
Just checked my bank account and ex's money hasn't gone in:mad: And, to add insult to injury, the numpty went to Italy this morning - the girlfriend's bro and her best friend getting married there. So he can get there, no doubt with my money added to his spending money...arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Typical too - last week of the hols, I was really needing his money to go in as my account is £45 overdrawn - his £40 would have helped a bit. Ohhhhh I'm so p'd off with him
I did get £1 and 50p on the scratchcards today though;):D
Just taking girls swimming with friends today, so that'll be £2.50 on the bus, £4.20 to get in, coffee for me and then home.
Just thought, I have a pair of trousers I bought for work in Tesco, £15 - think I'll take them back and get the money. I could always go back and use my clubcard vouchers to double up and buy them again:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi Milly
Thats not good, how selfish of him!! I suppose there is no way or point of contacting him seen as he has gone to Italy? You have mentioned his mum helping him before now, is it possible you could contact her and tell her it might only be £40 to some but to you paying for 2 girls on your own it makes all the difference?
Hope you manage to wind down while watching the swimming, got to be better than sitting at home brewing on the ex and his selfishness.
Take care0 -

Hiya KM,
I have texted him - not sure when he flew and if they're there yet, I just know it was Monday morning! I know his mum would help if asked, but I'll be ok, hate asking anyone for money. There is money in my bills account if I was desperate for it, and still £50 of my overdraft to use.
Luckily we don't have any big plans til Thurs (tax credits go in then;)) - just swimming today, park tomorrow if it's dry, eldest going to cinema on Wed with her friend (but it's Orange wed, so cheap), then 2 friends sleeping over on Wed. So girls will have a good week and won't cost me any more than £15 I reckon.
I've meal planned up til Monday, will just need some bread this week.
So, I won't panic....I'm just very cross with the big lump of an ex;):mad::mad:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Its good you've text him he shouldn't get away with it. I understand what you are saying about his mum but I think I would still want to 'grass' on him lol0

Really pleased - I've just sold a set of books on ebay for £20 and 2 packs of fairy lights for £3 each, so very happy with that:beer:
I'm off to Tesco tomorrow to return the work trousers and a jacket that I bought E for school - I don't think it's warm enough, plus I want the money back in my bank at the moment;) So that'll be £35 total going abck in. I'll get her a jacket in a couple of weeks, when my bank account is healthier:D
DD1 is going to the cinema with her pal on Wed, Orange 2 for 1 luckily - and I'll buy some popcorn in Tesco tomorrow for them - less than £1 instead of the £4-odd in the cinema.
I found that the cinema 20mins away does a kids club, and this Sat they're showing the Hannah Montana movie for £1.70 each child, free adult at 10.30 - so we're going to go to see that, as DD2 has wanted to see it for months...I can cope with £3.40 to see it....bargain...and again, Tesco snacks will go:p Otherwise we have no plans for the weekend, just resting before back to work next week..boooooo:rolleyes:I really need to sort out a new signature!0
