Yes :D need to get tough with the selfish :wall: .

Great news on the CC and the £3000 limit.

I am not sure how this works but could you pay off your Lloyds Loan and egg credit card with the new card, just a thought.

    :T on the no spends.

I did think maybe I could pay something else off with the co-op card...but it's only 0% for a year and I won't be able to pay off that amount in a year - so then I'll have the interest to pay...hmmmm, not sure. But I guess I could pay the Lloyds repayment money (£86 a moth) plus £20 that I have been paying to Egg...that's over £100 a month to Co-op. So I's pay off £1200 in a year....meaning there would be £1800 left....I doubt the Lloyds loan will be that little this time next year:o

    Morning!
Lovely and sunny here after a very wet night:p Off to see my mum and niece today...will need to buy petrol I think, will do it there as it's cheaper than around here. Going to buy E's winter coat too, if they have it in New Look. Need a few bits of food, will get in the Morrison's there - I've meal planned up to Tuesday and I'll go shopping on Wed when E is at school (I don't work wed now due to Uni, buy Uni not started yet:D)

House is fairly tidy/organised. Washing all done, most of my ironing actually done (even school stuff!). Kitchen clean, lounge dusted and hoovered. It reallyis only my room that's a bit messy, but that's ok, I only sleep in it!

£1 bonus for logging in to scratchcard site today - in cash, not the bonus pot either for a change. 10p scratches on both sites. My bank account looks lovely and healthy - wages and child benefit both gone in! Sadly it's all accounted for;)

Ok, must get on...have a good day people:p

Hey Milly very quite on here at the moment, hope your having a good BH weekend and had a good day with your mum and neice.

The weather is dire here , hope it's better where you are.
  • ooooops, not updated in a while:o

Back at work now...summer hols are a distant memory:rotfl: Still, nice to be back and busy again.

DD2 is at guide camp this weekend - picking her up at 1.30 tomorrow. bless her, in a field in a tent:D Eldest is with her dad, back tomorrow afternoon. I'm really bored tonight, not in the mood to do much!

Money-wise, plodding along ok. I did the food shopping on Wed as I don't work wed any more, very nice. NSD today and probably tomorrow, won't be going far:p Club money is due next week - guides £10, guitar lessons £40 (but I can pay £20 now and £20 at half term), cheerleading about £35 and owe £30 for eldests uniform. Ex still owes me £40 and I told him I want it tomorrow, which he said is ok....but we'll see:rolleyes:

Had a good clear up of girls room, dusted and hoovered too. Tidied up the PC desk too - was a right mess. Lovely and clear and tidy now. Tomorrow I must do the ironing, clean bathroom, kitchen and dust/hoover lounge./ Letting agency are doing their periodic check on Tues and last time they moaned as the grass was a bit long:confused: So I cut it today, won't give them any excuse to grumble!!

A few more bits have sold on ebay this week. Must see how much is in Paypal and withdraw it.

Anyway, think I'll head off for an early night with my book.

Hi Milly, I'm having a dull evening too, I've had a really lazy day but am feeling lonely now  Its my own fault, I chose to have a lazy day indoors but now I'm missing having company :o Having spent a lot of time on here doing betting stuff earlier I have finally got round to some housework tonight, just little bits here and there but it means everywheres starting to feel organised and ordered again :D
    Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

  • Hi BB,
I spend every weekend the girls are with their dad on my own:o
I'm not in the best of moods today as DD1 was being a madam to me this morning - she gets cross with me over nothing - today was 'cos I wouldn't buy a wrap and coke in Tesco for her - even tho' i had no money on me and we had wraps at home:confused:

Her dad turns up to get her and she stomps about, so I jokingly said to him, keep her as long as you like - he laughs and says 'come live with me' to her so she smiles and says yes:o (Ha, as if he could look after her anyway, he lives in his gf's parents house:rolleyes:)

And DD2 is camping, her first time, so I worry about her!!

And more housework to do tomorrow....fun weekend all round:rolleyes:

  • Morning all:D

Not much happening today - 10p all round on the scratchcards, banking will be checked later, when it's updated.
Today I've done all the ironing and put it away, cleaned the bathroom, tided my bedroom floor (books everywhere:o), got 2 loads of washing on the line and packed up 3 ebay parcels to post tomorrow. I'm off to pick up DD2 in about 20mins, aaaah I've missed her;)

Later i need to dust and hoover my room and the lounge, sweep the kitchen floor and clean kitchen, clean out goldfish tank and get the clean bedding back on girls' beds. DD1 is coming back about 3.30 with her dear dad to see E. Hoping he brings my £40, he knows I'm expecting it, but no doubt will have some excuse:rolleyes:

I have a few bits to buy in tesco later, but otherwise it's an NSD.

Meant to say last night - I transferred the Egg balance to my new 0% PO card - thinking about the loan money too - but I know I won't get it all pad off in a year, then if I can't get another 0% card, the interest will be more than I'm paying now with Lloyds....hmmmm.

  • I had an unexpected £160 from tax credits on Monday....
I did ring tem up to say my hours had gone from 25 to 20 as of Sept 1st, but didnt expect any money as I gave them the new income figures taking the reduction into account in August and my payments went up then!

So I rang them today and they said it's all ok, very odd but very nice;)

Letter came home from school about DD2's residential trip next June - £285:eek: I have started saving for it but DD1 will have a trip too - which we've heard nothing at all about, but we think that'll be about £500. I can't rely on ex helpiing, so beter save hard:o

Off work tomorrow so will nip to Tesco again after dropping DD2 at school. Mus do my meal plan and list today.

NSD today - must update signature.
