:T:T:T Well done milly, you must be delighted to see it gone!!!
I am very pleased yes!! It's such a boost to see a big one go...and know that there's no interest on the other 2 cards. Now just need to get rid of Next (and not put more on the account;))I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Oh I'm on a roll....just paid off Freemans too...minimum payment was £5...but they seem to have got rid of the interest free credit, so I paid the whole £18...that was the top I bought for Xmas meal:)I really need to sort out a new signature!0

Yep you're right, compared to December, I only have the cost of one laptop out of my account, as the £5 a day earnings effictively paid for 1;) The girls are quite happy that they paid part of it themselves...really pleased with them. DD1 got a lovely fairy cake shaped money box for Xmas and she's keenly filling it...taking pocket money my mum gives her out of her purse and puts it in, so she can't spend it:) I'm so happy that my new attitude to money is rubbing off on them and they're learning good life habits (hopefully!!)
I think my ebay sales might slow down a bit - we're running out of decent stuff. Have bags of summer clothes to go, but will wait til the Spring to list those. Had a few sales over the weekend - DD2's old mobile (£45 for her) and about £27 of other bits - will add that money to my total when it arrives in my account.
Had a good weekend - conked out at my sis on Saturday, she fed us then I slept on the sofa as they all watched a dvd:o Went to Mum's testerday and she fed us too....and gave us tons of beef stew, yorkies, dumplings, potatoes and profiteroles to bring home. So there's tomorrow's dinner sorted...fab:p
I'm all meal planned for this week, should be ok apart from bread and milk this week. Will probably do an online shop for delivery next week...hopefully I'll get back to work Monday, if this sheer exhaustion eases.
Anyway, must attempt to look at Uni work this week;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Congratulations On Lloyds & Next, fantastic achievement.0

Nothing much to report here. £75 on it's way from Paypal, £45 is DD2's, £8 will go to my spends account to cover postage and the other £22 will go to the £5 a day challenge.
I'm absolutely shattered today, bit sore too. Typical, had a good day yesterday and no pain:o I slept today from 1 until when DD2 came in at 3.30. Now need to muster the energy to do dinner. luckily we're having the stew my mum gave me...it's all done, just needs heating.
Laptops arrived today, so are hidden away for a few months...:)
Ooooh tomorrow the grant money will go in, lovely:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
The £22 is in my saving account and added to the £5 a day challenge.
I ruined my NSD yesterday by buying 3 books on Amazon...oops. BUT, I did have £11 in gift vouchers on there (from a survey site), so only spent £16 - I ordered Nigella Express, Jamie's Ministry of Food and a new fiction one for me, by one of my all time fave authors.
The girls are really keen to do more cooking and my friend recommended the cookbooks as ones that we'd all like the recipes....hope so:p
Paid cheerleading club today....£78 eek and double eek:eek: also had to buy SATs books from school for DD2, £15 there. Boooooo.
Not feeling too bad - awful yesterday, and still sore today but not as bad. Meant to be back at work Mon, but not sure....will see how I feel then I think:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
You deserve a treat Milly, you have done so well on your £5 a day challenge.
Sorry to hear your not well again, any news from the hospital?0 -
No, nothing from hospital...and having looked at the hospital's website, found out that general surgery waiting list is at least 13weeks:eek: So, not expecting to hear for a while...oh well:mad:
But...have had a nice weekend - girls were with their dad from fri evening. My mum came here yesterday and I went to town with her and my stepdad for a little wander, lovely to get out:p
Still off work - going back to doc on Thurs to see if there's anything we can do with my medication that might just help me get back to normal a bit - maybe a big load of steroids, much as I don't want them, but they usually make me feel great:o
Not a lot going on money wise no ebay sales and ran out of steam today with the ironing of stuff to photograph/list. Must try list tomorrow, but really running out of stuff to list now, booooooooo:(
Tesco shopping is coming tomorrow, enough for 2 weeks...all meal planned up to Feb 13th. Not much else to do but be organised:oI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Finished January with an NSD...grand total of 16 in the end and Groceries £195 out of my £220 budget.....lovely:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0
