Those laptops look fab, love the coloured/grafitti ones.

Well done on your £5 a day challenge, looking good.

Glad your feeling a little better, sleep is good.

Check out my £5 a day total today....more money from Paypal arrived:p

Tired again today - think getting up at 7 is bad for me:rolleyes: I had half hour nap on the sofa this morning but really looking forward to a lie in at the weekend. Not feeling too bad today, yesetrday was a better day....just physically wiped out today. Might go and watch a Lovefilm dvd now.
    How's your foot doing now?

£5 a day is looking good & also the debt total  well done you :D

No news from the hospital regarding your op date.

Plenty of rest is what you need, enjoy your DVD

Have you had a look at these site's crohnsiscrap.co.uk & crohns-disease.org.uk regarding advice on nutrition & diet, general well being.

Will you give the girls's their laptops before their actual birthday's.

Foot not very good :(, had to revisit the fracture clinic as it was very swollen (could not wear any footwear) red and very hot. Have been advised to rest more, swelling has gone down a little and it is not so hot & red.

Well done Milly your £5 a day (or are you going for £10 a day:D). Are you going to wipe out some debts (it would see off Next and Freemans already) or do you have another plan? Hope you enjoyed DVD and are feeling rested.

I think Next will be going soon...I paid £50 off last week and just waiting to get an up to date statement, as i've had so many bits and bobs coming and being returned lately...the sale stuff all arrives in different deliveries;)

Also....good news. I just rang student finance to see if they've received the full tax credit award I sent last week - yup, they have and I've got a letter on its way to tell me I'm recieving the full £1508 parental learning allowance:beer:
I've had a look online too and it's not taken into account by the housing benefit people, so that money won't go down - what a lovely surprise:p It comes in 3 installments, so hopefully I'll get the Sept and Jan installments soo, then the April one....I'm going to pay off Lloyds...can't wait:D:D

PS Where oh where is the 'dunno' smiley...oh and the sarky, roll eyes one?!!

:TGreat news milly, you'll be debt free in no time at all! Are you planning another holiday this year?

Apparently the smileys caused offence and have been removed. There's a thread about it on the feedback board.

Caused offence??!:rotfl: Ahhh I liked the 'dunno' one haha.

And no, not planning a holiday this year - my sis and her family, who we would go with, are going to the US to stay with my dad in June, so they won't be going in the summer hols....which is fine by me....I don't want to spend the money this year. Next year we should be going to America to stay with my dad...he's paying for flights so we need the money for the theme parks etc....in Florida, lovely!

Would like to go away somewhere in the summer hols tho this year...just to Devon maybe...thought of seeing if my Mum wants to go for a few days. I think girls would get bored just me and them;)

Anyway, girls are making fairy cakes....I'm just supervising:p

You mean this one confused-smiley-013.gif (hope I haven't offended you :rotfl:)

I think you should try for a short break somewhere in the summer. If you could save to go abroad last year then a caravan/holiday camp somewhere won't be beyond you.

The girls would probably be happy as long as there was a pool and things to keep them occupied. Talk to your mum about it because it's good to have something to look forward to.
  • 3 cheers.....Lloyds loan has just been paid off:beer::beer::beer:
Settlement figure was £890, so just paid it all off...used my savings and will then replace the money when the student loan money arrives on Wednesday.
How exciting...off to update my signature:T
