And I need to decide whether to buy the laptops or not tonight and then can buy tomorrow....3% Quidco means nearly another £10 off each. I'm tempted....seems a good buy...help....;) (f_f:A)I really need to sort out a new signature!0

I wish I could help you decide but I'd struggle to decide myself.
How about a pros and cons list2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Ok...not quite an NSD today...bought 2 laptops, £680:eek:
In my defense.....girls have paid £100 each...so I've spent £480. 3% should track on Quidco...so that'll be £20 back hopefully. I got the cashback when I bought mine in September, so should be ok. DD2 wanted a coloured one, but she's paying the extra £29 for that - she was deciding whether to add colour or webcam, colour won.
So...birthdays are done then...that's organised:D Now need to sell everything I can to boost my account again.
My £5 a day total's looking good...and waiting for some Paypal money to arrive still...can't remember how much.
I don't feel *too* bad today, less discomfort/pain, so that's hopeful. Just physically knackered:o Off to lie on sofa for my Tues evening of E-E and Holby now.
Asda shopping is coming on Wed - I've managed to avoid buying a shop out of this week's tax credits...so that's great. Mind you, girls club money due....about £70, Guides tonight was £20 and car tax at the end of the month:eek: Still...most of the clubs are up til Easter, just one that's til half term.
Apart from the laptops, I have had an NSD:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Well done on buying the laptops milly, I thought you would but not knowledgeable enough to offer advice beforehand. I think they'll be a really good investment for your girls and fun too.
Hope you weren't too disappointed that Holby wasn't on tonight. I'm a fan too but I knew it was footie tonight. Enjoyed the match myself but can't see why it couldn't go on BBC2 instead. Glad you're feeling a bit brighter:A0 -

We found 'How to Look Good Naked' on C4 instead to watch - I do love that;) Would love Gok to come shoppping with me....I have a wardbrobe like that lady did, black tops, jeans hahaha:D
Looking forward to the laptops...girls will be sooo happy. Just have to keep them hidden til birthdays...in May:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Its a big achievement being able to afford the laptops without credit when you only have one income coming in, you should be proud. And you are teaching the girls good money skills with their saving and contributing too.
Bet you can't wait for May now to be able to give them to them.0 -

Thank you Km...it is good to know I can pay without credit...the student loans do help though:o But I really don't spend much on other stuff any more - just bought a new toaster and couldn't bring myself to pay more than the Argos value one at £4-odd:T Begrudged that too, on a boring toaster, but the current one has broken - only toasts one side of the bread:p
Had to buy eldest a new school sweatshirt, the ones I bought 18m ago are tiny on her;)....but the school logo one you have to have was £17:eek: Needless to say she only got 1!
Another quiet day...pain seems to be lessening now, which is a relief. Just still really tired...could drop off during the day:o
Off to do dinner...I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Did you post on the Health Board to see if anyone has any tips/experiences about your illness?0

Sorry, KM, meant to comment on that:D I hadn't even spotted the health board before....durrr. Found it tho...and I read back through the pages and found a few posts about Crohn's, so had a read there. Some useful stuff, people were talking about things they can/can't eat.
I've been more careful with my diet over the last few days...trying more frequent, lighter meals, not large ones. Easily digestible food, not too much roughage....seems to be going ok for now.
I'm also now taking some pills that I used to take....that I've been reading up online on....ones that reduce inflammation and are ones that Crohn's people seem to take long term. Doc did know I wasnt taking them but never really made much comment...they seem to have left me to my own devices here, which is bl00dy frustrating...I'm no expert:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: And I hardly ever see my Gastro doc at the hospital...before the appt in Oct I hadnt been in years.
Fingers crossed, I feel better than this time last week...pain's not as bad or as frequent. I'm less bloated and just feel a bit brighter:p
Sat in my lovely new PJs (M+S order arrived), watching the tv awards. Bed in a mo....;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0
