Had a delivery from Next - 2 nice tops from the sale, £10 and £8....think I'll keep tham. Also a bag of goodies from New Look. Stocked up on girls school shirts as were only £2 - so DD2 now has 5 ready for starting secondary in Sept:rotfl:
Washing is donw - 1 load of their bedding and 1 of clothes....now waiting in the basket to go on the airer. Think I'll have lunch now than get busy;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Ok, I'm getting there!! Looking tidy again here (apart from the dining table, piled with boxes of chocolates;)) Might sit here and start my 2010 notebook....list the debts, DDs (direct debits not my daughters:D), to-do lists, meal plans etc etc.
Note I've not even thought about Uni work....grrrrrr I make myself cross with my procrastinating:rolleyes::rolleyes:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Having a lazy evening on the sofa with laptop...tv's a bit rubbish, but watchable (Mr and Mrs:rotfl:)...Casualty soon, do like that;)
I've withdrawn nearly £15 from Paypal - £7 of it is DD2's from a DS game we sold before XMas, the rest is what's left of my free £10 money from SoB!ngo - £2 of it was spent on an adaptor to plug in the girls' new toothbrushes, we don't have a shaver plug socket thing in the bathroom. So will be able to add that to my £5 a day total soon....:T
Back to work on Monday....really not looking forward to it:o I'm not feeling my best, the Crohn's pain is always there and I know as soon as I get busy and on my feet all the time I'm going to be worn out and struggle through the weeks. I have the hospital appointment with the surgeon on Fri 15th, so hopefully I'll know when I'll be having the operation.
I have tons of college work to do this month, including 2 work based tasks, a group presentation and an essay plan....I kind of want the op asap to buy me some more time with the work - otherwise I have a hell of a lot to do in the next 3 weeksI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Oh Milly I have ALOT of catching up to do on the £5 per day challenge
You are doing so well :A
Sorry about the crohns that sounds pants
But the uni work  Can you set yourself a goal for tomorrow? Even a small chunk gets a section out of the way :rolleyes:0 -

Hello again Retro....lovely to see you back here;) Hope all well with you.
I really don't feel like I'm doing anything much though....I'm sat here in my dressing gown, with the thought of hours of Uni work to do....not good:o Was awake for hours last night worrying about it.....the Crohn's is driving me mad too....arghhh:mad:
But, going to try do some work this morning before girls get back, must make an effort....am so good at ignoring it:rolleyes:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Morning;)
Well, I didn't sleep for ages last night - worrying about work/uni/my tum etc:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Girls due back around 2ish today, so must use the time beofre to do something useful, college-wise.
List time:- Prepare for college on Wed - find out about Steiner schools, ready to tell the rest of the group (grrr, not my idea of fun:mad:)
- Write a list of what else needs to be done for Uni this month
- ironing (Piles of the stuff:mad:)
- Get DDs to get bags out and ready
- Check their PE kits are ready (think I did that at start of hols)
- Make girls beds up
- Ask ex to bring me in a loaf of bread (saving me going out and spending
)
- Put the last of the rubbish/recycling out for collection (most is out)

Ok, everything done....nearly:o I did a bit of Uni work - got bored reading about Steiner schools so decided I'm going to research education in hospitals instead. Didn't do much writing, but read a lot and downloaded more stuff to read. So job for tomorrow and Tues night is write up what I can tell the group about hospital schools....anyone know anything?!:D
I did a mammoth ironing session - about 3 hours on and off, but that's it for the week....still got lots in the cupboard....but the door's shut so can forget it;)
Girls were back at 2ish, forogt to ask their dad to bring in bread til they were nearly here....luckily found some part bake bread in the cupboard we had for dinner. Bags are ready, well mine and DD2'2....DD1 will do it at the last minute:p They're all showered, I'm off to do the same too. Absolutely knackered, after not a good sleep last night, so will have an early one.
Nearly had my 3rd NSD in a row - but then bought 2 new Next school shirts for DD2 from ebay for £4.50...she needed them, I noticed most of her polo shirts were age 7 as I ironed them...hehehe, she's nearly 11:eek: But still, that £4.50 is all I've spent this year!! Will need bread and milk tomorrow - that'll be out of Grocery Budget (so won't affect my NSDs as long as I'm not tempted by any treats;))
Have a good back-to-work week everyone:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Urgh..can't sleep - the sore bit is living up to its name and being jusa right pain:o So instead of just lying in bed, thought I'd come down and have a cuppa....doubt I'll go to work, not after a couple of hours sleep, will try and get to a doctor.
But....glad I did come down - I've done my scratchcards, won 50p on V*rgin and took me to over £5 so have withdrawn (hoping it goes thro' ok after hearing about the changes)...then I did L!ttlewoods bingo and won £5:beer: SO on £9.82 there - nearly at payout...oh my £5 a day total is going to be creeping up when it all hits my account:D
Anyway, must get back to bed now....a couple of hours sleep would be nice, but the pain's there all the bl00dy time:mad:I really need to sort out a new signature!0
