You sounded brighter Milly, are you feeling a little better ?
Couldn'y agree more regarding the not going out lark, although I have placed a few orders on the Boots website for birthday & xmas presents this year
I see your going great guns with the Ebay
Good news on being able to replace the present that DD1 bought you, I hate breaking or loosing anything that DD buys me as like your daughter she always puts thought into her pressies.
Hubby will pop to the doctor's today to pick up another sicknote for me as I still have my cast on, due to the weather I did not go to the kospital on Wednesday to have it removed :mad:0 -
Yep not feeling too bad - uncomfortable of course, but used to it...and tired:o
I've got 3 more things on Turbolister ready to upload tonight - 2 I'm quite hopeful about, found them in the drawer (minidisc players), checked the completed listings and hoping the one with all the leads etc will fetch up to £20:D
Numpty ex appeared earlier wanting the marriage cert....it wasn't where I thought it was so spent bl00dy ages hunting it down....did find it, up the attic:o He's sorting the divorce out....hooray:p I've wanted to divorce the tw*t for yonks but refuse to be a penny out of pocket when it was all his doing;) He's so desperate to keep the delightful girlfriend happy that he's paying now....goodgood:beer:
Dinner is on....toad in the hole, mash and carrots...nom nom:p Am getting in an ebay mood and keep looking round for stuff to flog:rotfl: Girls better hang on tight to those ipod touches;)
Roped ex into taking girls to gym in the morn....save me going out of our snowy road....he's stuck here (well at his mum's, not 'here' as in my house:eek:) cos of the snow. Suits me again.....:rolleyes:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Oh...and I rang Student Finance as I applied for some lone parent and dependant grants....in Aug, then in Oct...but not heard. Chap told me they'd asked for my full Tax Credit award which I knew I'd sent along with girls birth certs and Council tax bill (showing single occupancy) - anyway, he said they didn't have the Tax Credit award so I needed to send it on.....grrrrrr:mad: Was not impressed.
So I dug out the letter they sent, asking for the full award.....and found the copy of the Tax Credits that I'd copied....and filed here :rotfl::rotfl:....I did send the birth certs and Council tax bill, just forgot to put in the TC award.....durrrrrrr.
So that's all ready to post as soon as I can....No idea how much these grants are worth, but anything would be lovely!
Ex owes me £135 for the girls Xmas presents still...oh and this month's maintenance....but he really doenst see me as a priority:mad:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Your description of your ex oh did make me smile, so the :wall:is finally sorting the divorce and rightfully paying for it as well.
What is it with ex's and their priorities regarding money & maintenance?
Won't hurt him to help out with the girls & their activities while you are poorly, use him to your full advantage :rotfl:
Fingers crossed for your grants when they finally come through.0 -

I just have a feeling he'll be paying some money for the divorce right now....before he's given what he owes me....there's not much I can do if he doesn't pay up, he drives me mad....he's not bothered at all that I've paid for HIS Christmas presents to girls:mad: He owes me £335 right now, plus some help towards their school trips...oh and clubs.....reckon I'll ever see that?!?! I'd be positively well-off if he just paid up what he should....not as if £200 a month maintenance is over the top for 2 kids is it?!
Rant over....off to bed with hot water bottles now:p
4 more things on ebay tomight...think I'm up to 21, with 3 bids.....and obsessively checking how they're all doing:rotfl::rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
You could always hand him a fully itemised bill for the amount that is owing, explain that you need the money as you are now only on SSP from the school.
Still cold here today, off to Gloucester to see my daughter & deliver her new car.0 -

Hooray, sold a BIN on ebay...£4;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0
-
Good news on the BIN can you get to the PO to post your Ebay parcels? We have 3 local PO's and two have been closed as the staff cannot get to work.0
-
I often use Royal Mail online to pay for my parcels then stick them in the post box....if they're small enough.
Up to 33 items on ebay now, with 2 more auctions on Turbolister to go on tonight. God, I've been here all afternoon, checking completed listings, taking photos....yawnnnnnn!! Put a few things on Amazon too and got a bag of books for jumble/school as they were all going for 1p....I'm NOT bothering for that;);)
Must tidy up and get dinner going soon....girls been so goos and kept out of my way, they are good at amusing themselves:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0
