Regaining my sparkle! Milly's diary part 2

Not done much here today:p DD2 went to her friend's house and made the most enormous snowman...reckon he's 7foot tall:eek: DD1 and I stayed in the warm;) Caught up on the sleep I missed last night too:rolleyes:
£3 received in my Paypal account for the P-cone survey I did yesterday. I've dug a few bits of clothing out to stick on ebay, but it needs ironing.....need some motivation to do that:o
Better go and do some dinner - having some pork steaks with roasties, stuffing, yorkies and gravy...and got 1 carrot to share between us....both our local T's and Co-op were out of carrots yesterday....:rolleyes:

Had a lovely lie in....up about 8.45;) Just dressed after some leisurely tea and toast....must crack on though. Mind you, I am off to rest, so will bear this in mind:o I just feel really lazy if I don't do anything....

Must get a few more bits on ebay. There's a box in the cupboard under the stairs full of [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] treasure that I should sift through. I also want to go through my uni work and at least write down what needs to be done....I can't let it slip. So, nothing strenuous today.

Have written a list of a few bits we could do with from the shop, so hoping girls won't mind a trek....I'll let them buy a donut for going:rotfl: We can manage without any of it, just don't have any veg, so our meals might be a bit dull. Hopefully the snow will shift so I can do shopping on Sunday....fingers crossed anyway.

Right, must put my face on first, then try the ebay stuff:p

Hope your feeling better and getting plenty of sleep.

I have sent hubby to the shops and PO for veg, salad, bread & milk, we have lots of snow at the moment. We never get snow where I live and yesterday was quite eventful as buses were stranded, numerous car crashes including an ambulance that crashed into the car of someone that was injured.

Excellent start with Ebay.

Hubby arrived back in one piece after visiting the PO & shops, it is now really icy & cold around here now, fingers crossed for the girls.

Is there a lot of snow where you are Milly?

I have 6 items on Ebay and a load on Turbo Lister to be uploaded, extra money comes in handy.

How's the UNI work coming along?

Uni work......yet to be done:o Must go see my tutors next week and sort out new submission dates, that's a relief to have that:D

Girls came back in one piece too;) Got everything on my list, they were back and forward between the 2 shops looking for it all! So we now have food for a good few decent meals....hoping on Sun I'll be able to get to big T's (10min drive away) - if not it'll be a trek to the local ones again.

We've got quite a bit of snow yes....and as we live in a little cul de sac our road doesn't clear. The main road looks ok from the windows....I just hate driving out of our road....luckily I don't really need to use the car, school and shops within walking distance. Just glad it's not this time next week - have my hospital appt Fri morn and wouldn't fancy going out in this:rolleyes:

The council website is posting updates from the schools at 3pm....girls are hoping to be off, but the council do say most schools will open. So I might get some peace tomorrow;) Aaaah, no, I don't mind them here - they're very good going shopping for me....now they're happy on the wii together....that Super Mario Bros has kept them amused for hours!!

Ok, going to tidy up a little then get the Uni work out:eek:

Done my food shopping online, due to come Sunday morning - got it early in case they can't come and I'll just trudge up to the local shops:rolleyes: Used a £5 off code, so effectively made it free delivery, and it should come to about £60 once the 2 for 1s come off. Got a good bit of food coming, will last right into the week after, not just enough for next week.

Must get off the sofa and cook dinner now:D

Got the rest of the bits on ebay, so up to 17 items listed I think with a few watchers.....not expecting to make a fortune on it all, but all better than nothing:p

Spent £7 today on the bits from the shops, so added to Grocery Challenge. Was nearly an NSD then bought a little perfume refill for a bottle DD1 bought me for Xmas - that I dropped and smashed the perfume refill:o Bless her, she was so pleased that she'd chosen in herself that I've bought a new refill so I can use it! Cost me £5 on ebay....and had the £3 P-cone survey money in Paypal, so only needed to spend £2 of my own money....lovely little perfume too - FCUK one in a silver handbag sized case, she chose a fab pressie:D

Had the heating off since about 6.30 tonight - very impressed! Girls have hot water bottles on the sofa, but it's not that cold...jsut upstairs gets chilly. Still, we all have fleece blankets over out duvets...I often wake up hot in the night:rotfl:

Been a cheap week so far....this not going out lark is great for moneysaving:rolleyes:
