    Hi Milly

Hope your feeling better this morning.

Better than yesterday thank you! Having the day off work, and as tomorrow is college day I can stay home then too - we're only in from 2-4 tomorrow anyway. My tutor's given me another week to finish my assignment, which is a relief;)

I am still taking steroids, but a very low dose, so have upped it a bit for a week or so. That usually calms it down quickly, so hopefully...!!

Hope your ankle is ok....that must be hard, managing with it:p
I really need to sort out a new signature!
  • Completed 2 surveys last night while watching tv ....and then had enough points for a £10 Amazon voucher. So I ordered myself a cd - I like to use vouchers earned on me as it's a little treat - I'd feel too bad spending money on a cd for myself, so that way I get a little treat for free:D

Have just checked my balance on another survey site and had enough for another £10 Amazon voucher - fab;) Have just banked that one, ready for when I fancy a book or cd.

Girls' DS games have sold well on ebay, also the buyer for the pink ipod finally coughed up - £85 for eldest DD:eek: Well, it was her Xmas present last year so her money:rolleyes:

I have 2 old ipods in the drawer I must list too....better to earn a few pounds than sit in the drawer:p

    Hi Milly
Hope your feeling better after your day off.
Excellent news on the extra week for your assignments.
It is good to have little treats for yourself, what cd did you order?
    Ebay sales are going well.
  • Yep, girls have made a fortune on ebay this week! One got £135 and the other £107:eek: They're enjoying seeing their savings go up though - all good I think;)

Quiet weekend here - have nipped into town this morning, wanted a new top for the work XMas do this Fri - but didn't want to spend much so came home with nothing! I have my eye on lots of lovely Oasis tops on ebay, just waiting for some measurements from the sellers - tops for about £10, much better than in the shop eh?!

Here's a quick list of things to do this afternoon.....
    • sort out pile of clean washing from airing cupboard - a week's worth of socks and pants I think;)
    • ironing
    • start wrapping
    • finish Uni assignment - I'm on a roll with it:p
    • make tomato pasta sauce to go over meatballs
    • get girls to write Xmas cards that need to go in the post tomorrow
Ok, I thought I had more to get done, but it's not too bad.....better crack on with the assignment, only another 1000 words to go:eek:
I really need to sort out a new signature!
  • :pHoooray....on Christmas hols now!
Had our work do last night, which was fun and, apart from the money on food paid ages ago, I only spent £8 (took our own wine:rolleyes:). So a little slower than usual this morning, but not too bad considering!

Off to pick up DD1 from a sleepover when the car's defrosted....then ex taking her and DD2 to gym and a quiet wekeend at home for me.
    Quick list time:
    • write meal plan for next week
    • Finish online Asda shopping thats booked for tomorrow
    • wrap all girls pressies while they're out
    • lots of washing on
    • clean bathroom
    • hoover upstairs and tidy girls room
That's all for now, and I think I'll probably feel rather tired later and lie on the sofa:p

    Hi Deb,
Yep - assignment got finished, with a week's extension - not sure if it was any good, but glad to see the back of it:o
As for Christmas, we go to my sis, drive there on Xmas morn...it's only an hour away. We stay there til Boxing day then nip up to my Mum's (5mins from sis) and stay there til 27th. Home then so girls can go see their dad for a night. How about you? Busy?

We go back to my sis at New Year....she has 3 girls so the 5 all have a great time together:D

Today they're all coming to ours for lunch, so that'll be fun. Must get off here and tidy up though:p

Milly that sounds like a lovely xmas spending it with your family.

Excellent news on the UNI assignment, now you can relax for a while. :D

We are home for xmas with hubby attempting to cook the dinner, he is no cook  and my daughter will be home from Gloucester as well, I cannot wait to spend some time with her as I do miss her now she has moved out.

We had been invited to a couple of parties over the xmas & new year but with my foot in plaster it is quite difficult, so will probably stay at home and .

Enjoy your lunch with your sister & girls.
  • Well done on getting the Uni assignment done.

Your plans for Christmas sound fun, hope lunch goes well today.

Did you say you know what date your op is now, I can't remember?
