Do you have family to look after the girls while you are in hospital?
It will be worth the operation if it helps with the pain and makes your life more comfortable.
Off now to Gloucester as DD has a new job at Gloucester hospital, staying overnight to settle her in to her new house.0 -
Good luck with Uni assignements, you sound like me full of good intentions to do it early etc but truth be known only the dreaded deadline seems to give me enough motivation to do it??!!
Boo to the maintenance, I hope he gets sorted soon so you get your financial support for the girls.0 -

Well, the ex is around here right now so he'll be having the girls when I go to hosp, his mum lives only 10mins away anyway so she'd help out. My parents are an hour away, but my mum has saved some holiday from work ready to use when I need her...bless;)
Hope you enjoyed helping your DD into her new home....that's what mums are fab at:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
I have a hospital appointment - only to see the surgeon guy, 15th Jan tho:rolleyes: So still not sure when the op will be.....very, very frustrating:o
Left work today after 2 hours as I feel so rubbish...the sore bit is very sore, to the point where I walk bent over and at half the speed I usually do. Spent the afternoon asleep;) Will stay off tomorrow and have Uni on Wed, meant to hand in my (unfinished assignments) - but think I'll email the tutors tomorrow and see if I can get a few more days.
Asda shopping came today with a multipack of butterkist popcorn and Palmolive shower gel in there, freebies, nice:p I have a few ebay parcles to send, didn't make it today - 2 DS games of the girls (so money is theirs:rolleyes:) Sold DD1s pink ipod on there last week....to a buyer with feedback of 1 and who has now disappeared after buying it now.....very cross:mad: Still not heard so will relist....very, very annoying when people do that!!
Ok, off to shuffle over to the cooker and do the girls some food:oI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Milly sorry to hear your not feeling too well sending virtual hugs, are you still on your steroids or could you get some from your GP?
Good news on Ex helping out when you are on hospital.
I love freebies when you can get them, just managed to nab the free Cranium game DD is using it as part of boyfriend's xmas pressie.
DD all settled in a Gloucester, ended up buying her a new TV/DVD/Freeview tv for her room, also mega problems with the internet which is now sorted.
I know all about shuffling as I broke my ankle 2 weeks ago, hubby booked a hotel for us to stay overnight and failed to ask for a ground floor room. We got there really late on Saturday and I had to bum shuffle up 4 flights of stairs.0
