    Unless you work for 02 or are friends or a relative of a staff member, you won't be getting any discounts on an iphone.

    Yep, I've heard that too. Hoping it will bring the competition on and the rentals etc will go down a bit... Because £45 for 24 mths seems a bit excessive to me...

    O2 give the 30% discount on iphone contracts to employees of certain companies and up to 5 of their family members or friends. You can only get the discount in shop, not online so no cashback etc.

    My flatmate works for Network Rail and has offered me the discount. I know employees of other companies get it too.

    My girlfriends dad works for Network Rail I might ask him see if he knows anything about it - do only certain members of staff get it?

    Really? My brother-in-law works for an official O2 distributor and they gave him the 30% discount on the iPhone. Am considering it myself but can't justify the price of the handset....I feel that if I have that extra money I should overpay on the mortgage! :D
