It's https://www.valueflora.com - I got it from the grabbit while you can section on the Bargains forum - there's a proper link there.

I'm afraid i looked at the instructions for pasting a link and I was totally  . Mind you it seems to have come up as a link anyway so now I'm even more  :rotfl:

Don't forget to go through Quidco or rpoints ;)
  • I had an ex, who not only was a horror with money (Yeah, I know how to pick 'em don't I!) but an p1ss artist as well, he'd have Darts on a monday, Dominos on a tuesday, Pool on a wednesday, quiz night on thursday, out fri/sat for weekend, and out ALL DAY (12noon until kicking out) on Sunday. The darts/pool was his excuse for going out, and swore he was only having 2-3 pints, so when I was 3 months pregnant and he was p1ssing every penny we had up the wall I was furious. He'd come home and fall asleep on the couch, snoring and stinking like a sulphury pig, he was so drunk i was able to go through his pockets and pinch pound coins. (So much for having had 2-3 pints!). Did this for a couple of months, and then chucked the fat ugly waste of space, but of the money I nicked off him I bought the baby's pram and a few essentials. Good job because I haven't had a penny since off him and that was 3 years ago!

Some may think I'm wrong to, essentially, steal off him. But in my view its not as wrong as p1ssing £300 a week away of his wages, and leaving a pregnant girlfriend working 2 jobs to pay the bills and keep a house. Knowing what I know now I have no regrets, other than not taking more, sooner!

Snoozer, if you think your blokes bad how about mine?

He quit his job about 8 weeks ago cause he didnt like the job, he is a commericial electrician but they tried to get him to do 'house bashing' when the contract he was on ended . He didnt sign on, or look look for work for about a month. Then spent £1,000 on a clapped out motor bike to 'do' up.

He signs on for the first time on Monday as now hes got no cash and all his usual places who he usually works for are not taking on new contracts.

He is now wondering how hes going to pay next months bills and i am absolutely furious.

I'm not sure what house bashing is but it doesn't sound very moral!!!

I believe McDonalds are ALWAYS recruiting. And he'd get free chips :D

Luckily DH has handed over all control of the finances to me since I found MSE, he does still make me mad sometimes though. I had to go shopping for clothes for DD on Friday and he asked me if I could pick him up a particular DVD which had just come out, (he wants it now and isn't prepared to wait for Play.com to deliver) The DVD cost £15.99, he will probably watch it 4 or 5 times!! On Sunday I paid £15 for a second hand Canon printer complete with 9 brand new ink cartridges and I got tutted at for spending so much! I can't win :(

Why not sell the dvd on amazon.co.uk once he has watched it a few times?

Penny Pincher does it not worry you that your OH will find out about this when youve posted it on here and he uses your log in to read the forum?

My OH and I put all our money into one pot that pays for everything but I have another account in my name only where I keep left over housekeeping. OH knows all about it because I wouldnt feel comfortable hiding it from him. He knows it's there but he cant get his hands on it without my signature. :D

Just went nline to check bank accounts and noticed a mystery payment of £82.00

Rang OH and it turns out that he has spent it on an online wedding gift.

This is the wedding of the daughter of neighbours, who we occasionally socialise with, not great friends. They invited us to the evening do and OH will be going but I am away. Do others think he's gone over the top or am I being mean?

I feel that all my weeks of scrimping and saving have been just thrown away he doesn't seem to care about staying out of debt (just 2 weeks ago he bought himself an extra birthday gift - a £200 MP3 player a couple of days after my birthday when I'd told him I didn't want a present and he got me a box of chocolates). He thinks my obsession with this site is a bit of a joke! I just can't bear the thought of running up another debt when we've just about cleared the lot.

no you're not being mean, my hubby does much the same thing, and to 'save' money bought a pressure washer to save money on car washes but never uses it and still goes to the car wash!! , it must be man thing...
