  • I actually got a Cuttlebug for Christmas off my parents (I had asked for it!) but now struggling to find good value dies. I really want some alphabet dies and I know with the Cuttlebug I can use most brand of dies with the adapters, but has anyone got any suggestions on where to start my die collection. Naturally, money is really tight, so if the dies are more than about £12-£15 I'm not sure I can afford them as I'm in the process of hoping to give my office an overhaul as I've seen a brilliant corner desk.

I can recommend this eBay seller http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Creating-Everlasting-Memories__W0QQ_armrsZ1 I've ordered about 5 Quickutz alphabets from her now at about £10 each. Don't forget about import duty though if you spend over £18 (she's quite good if you message her she'll put a lower value on the package so you don't get caught out) x

You should see what I've bought in the last month since I got my mojo back :o and I've another delivery tomorrow from The Glitter Pot. And the stamps from Pink Gem are just gorgeous, I really do wish they hadn't sent me an e-mail today ;).
  • thanks for Lei, I'm just so angry with myself that I went on ebay and ordered the Fancy Pants Cuttlebug alphabet for £28 including postage (That's £25 less on groceries this month ;o) )

I'm going to bookmark that page and have a good look in the next couple of days.

Melissa we aren't sure yet when Alicia's op is but should get more info very soon. At least it won't be so expensive now the nhs have agreed to part fund it.

Choccy all the cards are selling well . Steadily but they are going.

Flourgirl Thank you for posting the link to Alicia's blog . It is badly in need of an update though.

Rusty Fab digi stamp i will have to go buy some of their's i think. At least my o/h won't see those and have a panic attack at the thought of more stamps. lol

    Sally fab card it's brilliant.

Rainmac hope things went well getting the boys home from school and you all didn't get too cold

Mary glad to hear your medicine is doing the trip.

    Welcome back jessica.

Thank you to everyone who enquired about alicia . She is doing very well at the moment but says she doesn't want to go to hospital anymore cos her heads all better. We are having a fundraising party for her next weekend and hopefully it'll be lots of fun. I will update her blog asap but we've been busy with one of our other little monkeys carly.

Thanks for the link to the blog challenges NE Girl, i'll have a look through and see if I can find something that appeals.

    Glad you're feeling better Mary.

Great easel card Sunrise - i love them because they are so easy to do.

Thanks Rusty, my day has got better. We took Jack (6) to his swimming lesson today, which was his first in the big pool after going up to the next class and he swam like a fish, even though he is out of his depth. I am so proud of him. My OH came as well (as he had a 1/2 day off) and reckons that he can swim as well as some of the others in the group that have been in the class for ages. As a treat we let him have a McD for tea - also saved me cooking, so I have more time to craft :rotfl:

Just uploaded another couple of cards to my blog - again using the butterflies!
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
