  • You must have sent the smow this way Mary - now have flakes falling about 2 inches across - we're supposed to be doing our big xmas shop tomorrow - fortunately OH can drive and I can sit in the car with my eyes shut :rotfl:.

Sorry DD is poorly Rusty - if she's anything like DD is when I have to give her tablets I sympathise with you - you'll just have to pin her down with your knees either side of her ears and go for it - maybe not :o.

Hope the boys got to the football Rainmac and that you got away for your weekend DawnTB.
We went to Disneyland Paris the year it opened - didn't have any kids then and again 10 years ago - It was absolutely freezing when we went in November but no queues anywhere there was 4 inches of snow on the day we came back and the car refused to start so had to call out the French version of the AA :p

:santa2: The men loved the football but said it was really freezing. MK Dons lost 0-1 but apparently should have won as they played better, the goal was scored in the 87th minute .

Off to a bowling party later this morning then to deliver some more presents :snow_grin.

Who won Strictly then , I don't watch it but see Chris Hollins on the news so wanted him to win :xmassmile . I don't know who the other chap is???:snow_laug

Take care in the weather everyone :rudolf: xxx

 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

Rainmac Chris Hollins did win last night, he has always got through to the next round by being popular with the public. The cheeky chappie sort. Ricky Whittle is an actor:rolleyes:
from Hollyoaks  and technically he was a good dancer but didnt seem to have public appeal. Willow will be pleased when I tell her Ola won, she always says "those dresses that she wears aren't really much of a dress" (very skimpy), and why not she has a gorgeous figure.
Glad your men had a good day at the footie. Have a brilliant day bowling x
  • Afternoon everyone - is sooooo cold here - OH went out to defrost his car so we could go to Mr Ts and was showing -6  - warmed up a bit on the way was mostly -4 :o. Bonus was that shop was nowhere near as busy as it would have been - just need to get fresh stuff now.

Hope it doesn't freeze overnight or I'll not get out the village to get to work tomorrow - not that I'm bothered about that but we're out for tea tomorrow night :rotfl:. After then won't have to be out anywhere until 9th Jan - will be working from home in my PJs as the holidays fall on my days in the office :D.

Hello all :snow_laug Looks like we've had more snow overnight but thankfully since then nothing except sunshine -not melting the snow away though:mad: Hate the stuff -daren't go out walking in it..........had too many nasty slips so I tend to hibernate:rolleyes:
Arranged to meet my son at Peterborough -half way mark between him and us- so hopefully they'll get their present for Christmas

    Paddington............snow not my fault - honest:rolleyes:
Oh eck.........sky looking a bit not so blue now.........

And on top of the snow I've had one of those days where whatever I try and do goes wrong............goggle eye fell off little grandsons snowman jar so had to stick that back on............tried to cover a notebook and that didn't work out right so back to the drawing board for that.
Scratching my head for ideas for some bits to give young girl who cleans for me.........so far I've got a notebook, peg magnet and post it key ring............
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

  • Just a quickie, My husband posted my secret santa while i was in hospital so i hope it got there. He has just told me that he has got me a cuttlebug for xmas :j but that he has only just ordered it and wanted me to know as it most likely won't get here in time. I don't mind as i have the best ever present here. http://littlebundlesbabycakes.blogspot.com/ There was talk of him staying in hospital over xmas, which would have been heartbreaking but we had words with him and he turned a corner very quickly and came home late last night after many tears and begging with the doctors. He has to go back after for more tests but at least he is home.
