Thanks for the welcome bunbun. No, not bought the robin stamp yet, still pondering. There's a snowman stamp I like too, but as I already have a snowman stamp largely unused I'm kinda struggling, especially as I haven't made any cards for such a long time. But ................. ;)

You should check out this blog: http://itsallfiddlefart.blogspot.com/ She has so many simple but genius ideas. Might be a good place to start to get some inspiration?

I didn't realise they like plastic bags!
we don't have long curtains but they have had a few goes at my trousers

Been there - she's only done it the once though - she also likes OHs trainers and work shoes - serves him right for leaving them on the floor and not using the shoe rack :D

@paddingtondoo - I'm glad it's not just me then :) Oh and I also avoid anything to do with OHs work too :) Luckily OHs aren't invited this year to Christmas dos so I have no excuses to make.

@rusty - I live between Aldershot and Guildford. Anyone else local? Not that I'd have to guts to meet anyone :o but maybe one day :o

Yay, Gavin and Stacey is back tomorrow! (sorry - advert just came on telly!)

Is it possible to do a bit of a get to know you thing? Or have you done it before? I get the feeling that most of you are SAHMs or Housewives, but please correct me if I'm wrong. But judging from your comments you seem to be crafting during the day and also have time to make things to sell.

Well, I'm Sam, I'm 29 and have no kids! But have 2 rabbits. I've almost finished DIYing my first house, so have time finally to craft. I'm also learning how to play electric guitar. I'm a computer programmer and work in an office full of men who just don't appreciate my crafty conversations or when I want to pop into the craft shop at lunch time! I've made them all Christmas cards this year, but I will probably get nothing in return :( Men huh?

My hubby works at Tesco so this time of the year I hardly see him as he already works Saturdays and now extra Sundays and evenings :(

I'm not sure if I have anything in common with anyone but my other interests are Metallica, Guitar Hero, generally going to concerts, cinema and also got a bit obsessed with True Blood but I've watched it all now. I think Woopidoo likes Bill (correct me if I'm wrong) sure I saw a piccy on your blog earlier...

OK I'll shut up now. :o

    Hi HH,

I live localish - probably 25 minutes down the A3 to guildford from here, and also have no crafting buddies around here so if you want to meet up it could be fun - I too am quite shy and like to assess situations before I speak up. Occassionally go down to Whiteley's and Portsmouth as they are the nearest PaperMill shops to me! I work part time for Commonwealth Games England, and run the database for the Team so that keeps me quite busy. When I'm not working I have 2 boys that keep me busy, running them here, there and everywhere for clubs and when I get a minute to myself and love card making.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

I am Tams (Tammy) I am 27, I am sort of a SAHM, I used to work 4 hours a week until monday when the doctor signed me off for 2 months :( I love all things crafty but get frustrated cause mine never look as nice as anyone elses! I love all things car related. I have 2 brats/angels/demons/beautiful children, Maddison (2) and Thomas (7) I have enough bad luck than anyone else I have ever met, if it can go wrong it will go wrong!!

Errr think that is it! ... Oh and if you love tru blood then read the twilight books ;)

    Dawnteabag thankyou :D :j

Dawnteabag, thanks for the instructions they are fab, i'll try something out at the weekend, and if it works will post on my blog.

Gemm - i've been looking at blogs and on yours have noticed that you have a slideshow of your cards. Can I ask how you got this to appear and was it easy - it is such a good idea. I have tried through gadgets on customise, and can't get anything to show up. Since doing my blog I have a load of photos in photobucket and it would be great if I could link them to my blog.

    Thanks

sorry ive been AWOL, havent done any crafts or cards since i last popped in.

Im so busy trying to get our house move arranged and this is the 1st time i have ever stressed out about moving, but contractors are involved and you know what there like for tea breaks plus im still havent got over this nasty bug.

I doubt i'll have much chance to get on again before christmas, as my internet will get cut off any day now ready to be re-connected at my new address. I will still check on here though as i can access the net at my mum's house.

Ive also got a lot of surgery to go through over the next few months, which like buses has all decided to come at once. Some im gonna be in a lot of pain and probably wont be able to craft but i will read / post / blog hop to keep me sane.

I also havent forgotten about my CP xmas swap i will be posting out my gift to my swapee at the beginning of next week.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

North Cheam? Is that as in Sutton Cheam - Cheam? Or near? Cos my OH works at Sutton Cheam Tesco!

The thought of meeting up freaks me out, but yes, maybe one day :o Argh I'm useless!

Rusty - I always thought I was unlucky. I'm a bit of a pessimist and also love Eeyore because he is too :) What are you signed off work for? Or is it private? I have asked for the Twilight books for Christmas :D I'm going to take a look at your blog now to try and associate you with it....I'm back...have you even got a blog? I can't see one named RustyFlange!
