I am indeed in North Cheam in Sutton, any my local tesco's around the corner from here is the Tescos on the A217, is that the one he works at? If so and you ever go with him, please pop in for a cuppa, it would be lovely to meet someone who is into card making and crafting like I am.
This is rusty's blog
Yes, I think that is the one. It's quite a small world after all. I've only been there once when I had to pick up his car after he ended up in Sutton hospital, that was not fun having to drive to sutton at 10pm! The things we do for love...
Rusty - I'm following you now. Just skimmed through lots of your cards and I think they are great. I notice you have the robin stamp that was in the docrafts goody bag
@princesswoo - good luck with the surgery. I hope it's nothing too big.
OK Twilight sounds like a good series of books. I have to admit I watched the DVD recently and loved it, although I didn't get the no fangs thing? Or did I miss something? I hope I haven't ruined the book by watching the movie. But I have resisted to see New Moon, mainly because OH has been working lates every Wednesday when it's Orange Wednesday.
Dawn I am sure you are one of the nicer people that works at a bank
Everybody has children apart from me so far....anyone else got no kids?
Craftygranny - you are very young granny and I now have a completely different picture of you now
I'm off to look at the folding game....I've failed miserably with that. Have no idea, sorry.Next game please.

Sorry Dawnteabag I have done a bit of a search, but can find anything similar sorry - I searched on the word concertina fold.
I did find some black glitter paper though that looked a reasonable price, not used this shop though, if you are still looking for it. Ooops just realised you wanted card, I think. x
Thanks CT - I too searched for concertina fold and fan fold. It's so frustrating when you can see something in your head but not translate it into searchable words for Mr Google.
Thanks re the glitter paper but I think I may be sorted now thanks to CraftyGranny.0 -
You know, it's amazing that you ever make any cards the amount of chatting you all do0

Evening ladies.
Hope those who are poorly are feeling better, and Mary-Op so sorry to hear your OH had to go all that time without food, I'l be thinking of you both and keeping my fingers crossed for Tuesday.
Well, I had even more bad news today. One of the Drs where I work told us this would be her last day as she's been diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. She's only young as well and a nicer person you couldn't wish to meet. I was so upset when she told us, although she said she was hoping to come back to work after New Year!!!
I've been making some more things tonight for the Christmas Fayre this coming Sunday - I made my first ever nappy cake and I'm so not happy with it, I just don't know why?? It's here for anyone who wants to see it and the other things I've made:

Oh and hello to all the newbies, I'm Sally, I live just outside Huddersfield, West Yorkshire with my OH, two children, 13 and 17, my two Norwegian Forest cats and my Golden Retriever pup - I work part time as a phlebotomist and Dr's receptionist. I'd love to meet up with anyone who might be around this area??

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -

Wow - that's not quite it but isn't that a great card!
See if I had a scor-pal I'd be able to make things like that all the time. (And that's as good a reason as any not to buy a scor-pal - I'm busy enough as it is!)0 -
Probably not what you're looking for but these are kinda cool:
