I am here! I have had a busy day card making and clearing up the house. the kittens have decided not to use the litter tray (could only be one but not sure) and have used various piles of papers and clothes round the house. As you know rusty there are plenty of them to choose from:o So I have had to have a mega tidy. they were not in my good books this morning!
I did also have time to make three easel cards - will put pics on my blog prob tomorrow as photos take ages to upload onto the computer.

skiergirl glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. I have had this sore throat/bug for about two weeks now and every so often still feel yuk!

mary glad to hear your OH is back home

Tomsmom welcome:j I love that robin stamp - did you buy it?

rainmac thank you so much for the lovely ATC:T basic grey was an obvious choice!

dawnteabag fab Christmas card - your granny is going to love it:T

gemm the kittems are certainly keeping us entertained and are so affectionate - even though I could have given them back this morning:D the boys are desperate for them to sleep on their beds:rotfl:

Amazing Christmas card dawnteabag – I’m not nicking the design, but do you have a link to a tutorial to make the actual card shape please? .

I kind of made it up myself but will have a go at taking some pics of the stages tonight and will post them on my blog if that would help.

My lollipop card instructions are done! - Here

I'd like to thank "& son" for the use of his photography skills and for the use of his hands for some of the shots

Would you mind if I borrowed your idea i.e shape of the card to see if I can do something slightly different?? If you have a problem then I will leave it but wanted to ask before I nicked it ;)

Great instructions DTB - will raid DDs stash for sticks :D.

:rotfl::rotfl: at bunbun - hope they grow out of it - we still can't leave paper or plastic bags on the floor they just get watered - she even weed in my craft box once fortunately was mostly tools and scissors but made my DST go all wiggly :D - hope you don't have any floor length curtains :p
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

  • @paddingtondoo - I'm glad it's not just me then :) Oh and I also avoid anything to do with OHs work too :) Luckily OHs aren't invited this year to Christmas dos so I have no excuses to make.

@rusty - I live between Aldershot and Guildford. Anyone else local? Not that I'd have to guts to meet anyone :o but maybe one day :o

Yay, Gavin and Stacey is back tomorrow! (sorry - advert just came on telly!)

Is it possible to do a bit of a get to know you thing? Or have you done it before? I get the feeling that most of you are SAHMs or Housewives, but please correct me if I'm wrong. But judging from your comments you seem to be crafting during the day and also have time to make things to sell.

Well, I'm Sam, I'm 29 and have no kids! But have 2 rabbits. I've almost finished DIYing my first house, so have time finally to craft. I'm also learning how to play electric guitar. I'm a computer programmer and work in an office full of men who just don't appreciate my crafty conversations or when I want to pop into the craft shop at lunch time! I've made them all Christmas cards this year, but I will probably get nothing in return :( Men huh?

My hubby works at Tesco so this time of the year I hardly see him as he already works Saturdays and now extra Sundays and evenings :(

I'm not sure if I have anything in common with anyone but my other interests are Metallica, Guitar Hero, generally going to concerts, cinema and also got a bit obsessed with True Blood but I've watched it all now. I think Woopidoo likes Bill (correct me if I'm wrong) sure I saw a piccy on your blog earlier...

OK I'll shut up now. :o

Have been trying to find an example of the card that inspired me at Harrogate but with no luck.

I have however found this site which has LOADS of links to templates.

    Definitely worth a look!

Thanks for the welcome bunbun. No, not bought the robin stamp yet, still pondering. There's a snowman stamp I like too, but as I already have a snowman stamp largely unused I'm kinda struggling, especially as I haven't made any cards for such a long time. But ................. ;)

Not at all - I'd be intrigued to see what other ideas people have.

Can't wait to see it when you've had a go.

ETA - it's not 'nicking' its 'drawing inspiration'
