Just wondering what time you are all planning on arriving/ leaving ?
I am still wondering whether to drive as it will prob be cheaper, depending on what time I go0 -
Skiergirl - Your cards were exactly as you described loved the colour of the envelopes - I haven't had my Lakeland catalogue yet either! Is it because we are in the North?0

Hi, back from hols (shattered!), and missed all your chit-chat. Hubby sure I was showing signs of withdrawal!
Been trying to catch up and reading through loads of pages;) Cant remember all the blogs I have been looking at but all creations are truly beautiful (as always:T)
Rusty - many thanks again for the blender pen. Sending you hugs after your scan.
Rainmac - Your vanilla cake sounds yummy. Good luck with your christmas shopping. You constantly amaze me how much you do!:A
Hels - Thank you for your card;)xxx
Cant wait to get back to pottering around with my bits & pieces (if you know what I mean!!), but must get all washing and ironing done thats the worst bit when you come back of hols- all the yucky jobs!0 -
hi all
hopefully things are starting to return to normal at teabag towers. Have managed a few simple makes today.
Just wanted to let you know that Home Bargains currently have packs of 20 notepads (approv 14.5 x 10.5cm) for the princely sum of 99p!
I've made a few covered notebooks today and have asked Mum to pick up some more pads for me as I can't drive yet. Will try and post pics later tonight.0 -
Hello everyone!
Rusty Glad your scan went ok for you, hope you are having a relaxing night!
Rainmac Awh I wish we had a local book group! Sounds like a good excuse for a natter!!
Ali Glad the card arrived, glad you had a lovely holiday!
The Wife thank you so much for your info re the boxes, I've managed to enlarge it in work courtesy of the photocopier I've just tried it for size and it's perfect another thing I don't have to worry about, everytime an acceptance for the wedding comes through the post it sets me into panic mode!
Skiegirl I was talking about the NEC meet today I had supervision in wrk and the the nec day falls on my wrking day I haven't got any leave left to take so I've asked if I could swap the day and work and the beginning of the week my boss said yes!!! I would love to spend the day there to be honest, my OH is wondering if we would be better off staying up there for the night, so I'm not sure yet! So looking forward to it!:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0 -
Hi thanks for all the advice and websites.
I'm looking at some things on the Artymiss website and just wondered if i could ask some advice.
There is a Imaginisce Bumper Bundle on there for £15 instead of rrp £60. I was just wondering if anyone had got a bundle like this before as i'm not sure if there would just be junk that doesn't sell or whether it would be worth getting.
Also being really cheeky i was wondering if anyone had any free delivery codes or discounts for first orders for Arty miss.
Thanks, hope it makes sense

Rusty glad you finally got your scan .At Least now it should give them some idea how to sort you out.
Rainmac great find and that freebie looks great. Glad to hear you enjoyed your book evening.
Flourgirl Sounds like just the place for me and i wish i was going but unfortunately my legs don't work enough to get me around somewhere like that anymore . I'm currently fighting with my doc cos he thinks i should use a wheelchair and i won't . My son thinks i should get one of those scooter things and i am considering that. my o/h says i'm far too stubborn and independant but it occured to me the other day i could maybe go to some of the big shows if i bought one of those. Just worried people might think it's a bit big to take somewhere like that and i'd be in the way.
Kaitlyn is much better today thank you she's just really tired.
mrs tidge sounds like you've been keeping the elves busy lol.
Leepy Hello and welcome and watch out for the elves.
Melissa I'll happily send you some of the new ones as well. I haven't done your atc either don't know where to start might have to pick Kaitlyns brain this time.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

HTHfurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -
Candy - well done on buying a cuttlebug with your toolbelt sales money - hope you manage to make some cards soon! What on earth is a toilet roll cake????????[/QUOTE]
lol :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
A girl at work has just moved house, so it's a joke present.
How can I explain this ??? Loads of toilet rolls, tiered to look like a wedding cake.
Complete with toilet brush sticking out of the top, toilet duck, air-freshner, cistern blocks, dangly perfum-ey thing to hang inside, toilet body wipes, loo cleaner wipes, warning label ....... and whatever else I can fit on it.
All ribboned up, cellofaned and bow'd.
Here's one I made a couple of years ago, although I'm hoping I can get this one looking a bit better.A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0
