Candy - love the toilet roll cake - made me think of a pressy for my husband:rolleyes: Can you remember where you got the warning sign on the door hanger from?
Rainmac - thanks for the link for the bottle template the cards look lovely - would you print the template directly onto card or on normal paper and then copy onto card??
Craftygranny - There were a few people on scooters at Harrogate and people moved you might just need to shout up so people do move to let you in, or to pass things to you as some things were up a height - but people were happy to help.
Rusty/Gemm - congrats on your wins - do you know what you have won yet - love to see what people win!:T0 -

bunbun for the lovely card and stamped images! :A
rusty for the gorgeous charms! :A
have spent the morning building my new desk and rearranging my craft room, it's looking like a bit of a tip still so I'm off to tidy up and play now0 -
Gemma - Well Done on your win - I agree with you - Like ali B said I was struck by how many people there were using chairs at Harrogate last week. Have you got bruises like DawnTeabag got putting up her desk? I've seen the one I want & DH wants one too but the car isn't big enough to collect ourselves from IKEA & their delivery charges are OTT so weeks on I'm still waiting........
Craftygranny - Good for you for having grit & determination not to give in but thnk of it as a tool to let YOU do what YOU WANT. My Dad used an 'ordinary' push type wheelchair and we used to take him all over in it.
You wouldn't have to use it all the time if you got one. There are loads of different sorts to choose from depending on your needs. (sorry if you think I'm rude for commenting but after my Dad I feel strongly about such things)
Rainmac - Don't know about Padster wanting that bear - I do - he's lovely! I wonder if Padster's got her internet back yet? Good Luck with the bottle challenge!
Saveapenny - Hi! Are you OK? Long time no post.....0 -
:j:j:T:j:T Well done Gemma! :T:j:T:j:j
Just had our home visit and we should (hopefully) be having our dog on Tuesday! Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
The Wife That is good news . Bet you can't wait till tuesday now.
Gemm Great news on your win. Thank you for your help re a scooter . My new stamps are here so i have been busy stamping and they'll be in the post shortly.
Marg I gave the cards to my son to post this morning as i didn't get to the post office. Not sure if he'd have made it today or if it will be monday.
Marg , Gemm,Ali. Thank you all for your help and advice re scooters and taking them to these places. I have decided to at least look into it . I won't have a chair as i refuse to be dependant on anyone. My doc is hopeful it will only be for a year or so. so i'm going to look into a scooter think i owe it to Kaitlyn, at least she'll get about more although she goes out plenty i just don't always go with them. It just feels awfully like giving up. OOOps sorry for rambling.
Candy Love the toilet roll cake i bet those get a few laughs. But in a nice way.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

louby-lou-lou wrote: »Thanks gemma i looked on ebay yesterday but as i typed whisper strokes not much came up. I haven't had any pens before other than i got some peel off pens free once with an order so i am a bit clueless. I don't do much stamping so i think whispers will do and i was happy with the finish i got with the ones in the pack i got on my first try. I didn't even know i could put them straight on the stamp lol i stamped and coloured the image in but as i only had 3 colours it isn't finished.
The event today looks like it wouldn't be too far away from you too. It doesn't start untill 11 so i am letting DH have a lie in before he take me lol
oh it's not on today it's tomorrow good job i checked lol.
I got my Whispers pens from ArtyMiss - £17.99 for 36 in a black fold up case!
Craftygranny I posted out your stash swap yesterday x
Edit: Just had a look and can't find them on Arty Miss anymore but I've seen the same set in The Range...0 -
Louby i got my whispers from artymiss too they were on offer 36 in a desk tidy for about 15 quid . I do have some duplicates as i got some forever friends stamp sets etc that had some in and i never used them. I'll dig them out and let you know what i've got then if you want them they're yours.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
