Hello all you busy bees..............:j
Didn't get as much done this morning as I'd have liked -neighbour came round for a natter with her teenage daughter -seems her and a few friends had a few too many last night and one of the boys she was with knocked his head on front of our house so our cream paint is now splattered with his blood !! I've got phone numbers of lads involved and if they're not round by tea time I'll be on the phone to them.........they told neighbours daughter they'd come round and put it right. Heaven knows how you get blood of a wall -2 hours later my pva had gone all sticky and brush had stuck to it:rotfl:
Checked mousemat/door hanger..........bit of super glue popped in and fingers crossed -re-did one of the diaries I'd got (found I'd done two for grandaughter...........lol)so now grandsons got one and I covered a notebook with some fabric I'd had for a while -free samples. And used up last coaster (pub won't let me have any more ) so one of my family history contacts is having surprise pressie of diary, coaster notepad and key ring post it..............:rotfl:
Postman came...........what a surprise !!!:j Huge amount of scrapbook papers from melissa :T
Many many thanks...........they're so nice.........almost too nice to use..........:rotfl:Very kind and such a nice surprise to have..,..............especially after this mornings other event...................:oI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Gemm - when you have done your craft room will you post a pic on your blog so I can show hubby - he wont let me have one as big as craftygrannys but I showed him your old one on your blog and he was a bit more receptive - asked for a desk that I had spotted in the Argos catalogue but might take a looky at Ikea.
Craftygranny - you might not be able to get on your scooter for the grandchildren wanting to have a go!!!
Mary-op - think you need a nice piece of choccy to cheer you up!!
The wife - good luck on getting your new doggie0 -
Afternoon all
Just a quicky from me as we have just got back from DS's party!! :j and my mum and her boyf seem to be enjoying themselves
Glitterpot have the calendars back in stockso be quick.

Craftygranny - I understand where you are coming from re the scooter/wheelchair and I can understand why it must be so frustrating and why you are refusing. I do however think it would be a good thing for a scooter, and I think you may be pleasantly suprised if you were to get one as to how much more mobile you will become. Think of all the places you would be able to go and things you would be able to do! Not only that but they have a fairly big basket on the front(this would of course only be suitable when shopping for craft stash) :rotfl:
Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Candy - love the toilet roll cake - made me think of a pressy for my husband:rolleyes: Can you remember where you got the warning sign on the door hanger from?
I made it up from here
http://www.warningsigngenerator.com/
I just copied and pasted it to Visio and re-worded it.
I still have the original saved, and it has copied over to Word OK, so let me know if you'd like a copy.A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
craftygranny - if and when I need to I'll be taking the town by storm with one of those scooters..........lol -need one with a cover so I don;t get wet in the rain, big shopping basket and some sort of hooter to warn folk to clear the way...........lol
Tried to get my dad to have one years back and he wouldn't - he said I only wanted him to have one so I could ride on it and he wasn't far wrong.:rotfl:
ali - need huge box of chocs - two boys concerned didn;t turn up...........I rang one of them and he was downright rude..........so I just might go and see his mum tomorrow.............not a clue how you get blood off a painted outside wall
Other boy was switched onto answerphone -aren't they always when you want them.......so given up on him.
OH has a bad back and waiting for doctors appt. wednesday so no way is he going out to rub and scrub.
Oh well..............such is life as they say:rolleyes:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all!
Thought I'd pop on while all the men in the house are playing Lego Star Wars on the Wii!
I've had a lovely day - took the boys to see 'Giraffes can't dance' at the Art Center here and went into a real live craft shop(as opposed to a cyber one that is!) I hadn't been in there for ages and she's really expanded her range which is great. I did limit myself to DST and calendar tabs (won't mention the glimmer spray then...)
Furry - how was the show?
Mary - what an unpleasant find this morning - sounds like you've had aproductive day otherwise though.
They were asking at Jamie's school what sort of clubs we'd like - I'm toying with the idea of a offering to do a couple of crafting sessions before Christmas - cards/calendars etc - what do you think?
I've done a card for Salesadmin's challenge - it's on my blog - and did a couple of quick makes with some of my new papers also on the blog
Have a lovely evening everyone0 -

I'm hoping to make a start on the coaster calenders this evening, just wondering how are you all getting a neat finish?? and are you doing one side first, then other side or wrapping like a present? God I'm useless on times:o

Hels - I'm being really shoddy and only covering one side! I bought a sticky magnetic sheet from craftsulove which is really easy to use.0
