I've just been to the PO to pick up some things that the elves made me buy! I ordered some lovely 3 bugs paper kits from here, they were really reasonable and I got some lovely charms as a freebie too. I'm now off to cover some notebooks and coasters in my new paper!

We had a great book club last night, not much talk about the book but that's normal Everyone liked my vanilla cakes and there was one left over so just had it with a nice cuppa.

I see none of us won the 56 Promarkers, what a shame :rolleyes: :rotfl: Mel, the pens I won are on my blog. It was sooo hard to choose just 6, I wanted them all :rolleyes:

Hels, could you use a photocopier to resize a template or make your own? I am carp with angles and stuff otherwise I would offer to help with a triangle box template. My OH's brother is a product designer so draws diagrams and stuff using the PC, if you get stuck, let me have the dimensions of what you need and I could ask him nicely if he could draw a scale template

MrsTidge, sent your CP stash swap yesterday and the post office man got in a bit of a tiz about how much postage to charge so put a label on and then added extra stamps, hope it gets to you ok and if there's any postage owing please do tell me and I'll send you the money x

Please don't send any craft shopping elves to my door as I have just spend a fair bit buying Xmas presents online. I want to get everyone's bought or made so we only have the boys left to buy. Lakeland has their Xmas stock in and there's loads of lovely stuff for all ages, most of my bits are coming from there. I've also ordered lots of desk block calendars from play.com, get cashback via Quidco and free p&p

1 step closer to making my first card !!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately today I have to finish off my daughters curtains as well as make a nappy and toilet roll cake ....... so no playing with the bug today :mad:
I still have your card Melissa on show, I promise one day I shall join you all and get round to making at least 1. So thank you all, keep posting the piccies, I need more tips :rotfl:
I also need to get busy sewing/selling some more daddy toolbelts .... to fund the future stamp and pro-markers purchases .... see, I'm learning the jargon :rotfl::rotfl: And understanding now what you mean with these 'elves' !!!

I have not long got home from my scan ... I was scared stiff this morning, but the lovely bunbun was texting me which helped calm the nerves! ....
I went in, and it was so different to last time, the machine was so much better and the lovely lady doing it was really nice and actually as daft as me which always helps. After 45 mins under the scanner and not being able to get up again due to the agony (can't lie on my back at all now so 45 mins being on my back is pure hell!) she came in and has asked how old I am ... I told her and her response was that she has never seen so much wear and tear on someone of my age :eek: Not sure what happens as she couldn't tell me too much as she has to send it back to the hospital so I will probably have another appointment dropping through the letterbox soon!

I am scared now though clearly if there is a mess there then it explains the pain ... but what happens now to help put me right

Hi all, New to this thread and new to card making. I have tried to read through as much of part 1 and 2 and may I say some fabulous ideas and links you all are very talented. I am looking for a bit of advice on where I can get ideas for a new home card. Have not done many cards and they were all birthday ones so I`m pushing the boat out and going to try something different :j but not sure where to start looking any help and ideas would be most app. I was looking for something modern.
