Dawnteabag, Hels, EmmaOC, Skiergirl your cards all arrived just now Thank you

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed today by the kindness & generosity of you all to my challenge. DH is so impressed that he wants to take me & the cards to the lady who's organising the send out so that nothing goes wrong in transit. Before then, I'm going to take a mass photo to put on here and I haven't forgotten about the draw - keep watching this space!

Rainmac - your beautiful card & ATC arrived today with treats too! which contributed to my overwhelmedness (is that a word?) THANK YOU very much.

Marg, I think you have had the bext response from any challenge that we've set ever, huge well done on collating our efforts together.

Glad you received your ATC ok, I know it's very Xmasy but with red and green I wasn't sure what else to do x

Rainmac it sounds like your Book night was just an excuse to eat cake!! I bet you hid that one for today lol.

I was very good yesterday and only ordered what I needed from Craftworks Cards I am trying not to spend really until the Stamp Show at the Doncaster Dome on October 25th. Craftygranny are you going?

Sorry Giggle :o I didn't mean for you to spend that much! Sounds great though, the oval scallops are on my wish list :D I have the circles and they are fab.

Rusty Glad you have got your scan over with, at least now they can get on with putting you right and hopefully you will be able to see an end to your pain at long last.

I went to download the Pollycraft image this morning and was suprised to find it had moved to a new blog, and what a fab freebie too :D

Craftygranny I hope Kaitlyn is better today, poor little thing x

Marg Perhaps we could do another Challenge for the Troops after Christmas, maybe Valentines and Mothers day? Its something to think about anyway.

Rusty - that's spooky! Even before I got up this morning I was wondering when your scan was & thought I'd ask & wish you well for it & lol by the time I done my chores you'd been already. Glad it wasn't as bad as you anticipated & hope the cure isn't too bad either. Do you need to strengthen your bones? DH & I take glucosamine daily which help. (mind you we ARE old)

Flourgirl - Yes, I think we should do that, Joy, the lady in charge says she sends out cards all year round for all the usual ocassions - I'll try to find out if there's a deadline for Valentines to go out - if it's December it'll be a good antidote to Christmas!

rusty - glad your scan went ok.........try not to worry........they'll get whatever it is sorted out.

I'm miffed..............spent all morning making a flannel reindeer -despite instructions I kept going wrong with the antlers.............lol
The came the mousemat./doorknob hangers......well, think one is a no-go (went a bit !!!!-eyed cutting the hole) so started to decorate the other one for my friend...........going great it was, nearly done then the paper started to come off !! Shoved some pritt stick on and its now under a box hopefully staying put -otherwise it'll be superglue and the risk of sticking my fingers together  (nearly did that last time I used it !)
So, still to do...............one more coaster (might as well use it), 4 jars to do something with, notebook to cover in fabric and I'm nearly done !!!:j
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

  • Hi and welcome cardpaperscissors and leepy :hello:

Sal - Glad you had a good birthday and what fab presents you got ! Just being nosy - whereabouts in Cheshire are you going out- I'm always on the lookout for good restaurants to try :D

CT - gorgeous card for your mum :T

Rusty - glad you've finally had your scan, hope you get an appointment soon so you can find out what the problem is and what happens next xx

Marg - glad you managed to work out which cards were mine :o

Why have Lakeland not sent my catalogue - do you think my DH has hijacked it so I can't spend too much ? :rotfl:
