Do you think i could get away with taking some cards to this coffee morning without them being in cello bags? I don't have any square ones and would rather not have to buy any but don't want everyones fingers all over them really. I will take one nappy cake and lots of leaflets just to show what i do but will mostly take little gifts, cards and calenders i think. The coffee morning is in aid of macmillan cancer support so baby things may not be right what do you think? I have never done a coffee morning only craft fairs. I thought these type of coffee morning have one or two stalls with cakes, jams and a raffle etc not really crafts.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0

Hello to everyone. I've been reading this forum for a while now and I'm very impressed by all your fantastic cards and craft items. You are all so talented and I've picked up loads of hints and tips. This is a such a friendly forum too. I've recently turned to cardmaking as my silly arthritic hands have stopped me doing the other crafts I liked (cross stitch, knitting & crochet). I'm not that good yet I don't think but looking forward to joining in the fun and finding lots more places to spend my MSE savings LOL!
bye for now :hello:

Good Evening Ladies
Sorry I've only just got a chance to get online tonight.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your Happy Birthday wishes, that was really thoughtful of you all! xxxxx
I had to work all day today, so haven't had a chance to do anything, although other half did treat us to a chinese takeaway for tea tonight, which was rather nice.
I think we're going over to Cheshire at the weekend to go out for a meal with OH's Mum and her partner which I'm really looking forward to.
DD gave me a gorgeous Candy bracelet and DS gave me a lovely big box of M & S Choccies. OH gave me, wait for it..... a Cricut machine!!!!!!!! I was gobsmacked. He's always moaning about me leaving things lying around, so had no idea he'd buy anything crafty for me!
Anyway, I better not go on any longer or you'll all be falling asleep.
Thanks to Rusty for the wonderful cake!!! LOL
By the way, all the latest creations are absolutely fab, hope everyone else is doing ok too.

Hels panic no more, Pink P is so pretty and you can also find them over on www.splitcoaststampers.com find resources at the top and do a search for 'sour cream container' and there is a tutorial. Also, have a look in the gallery and use the same search, there's loads and loads of ideas there. Have you looked on youtube? The Wife's off on a mission to youtube, I may be some time as the Argentine Tango clip with Richard Gere is always worth a visit. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Phew! had to come out of youtube, that Richard Gere clip is so HOT!! I shan't sleep.:D
Anyway, Hels, there's about 70 clips on youtube about sour cream containers and different way of making them, there's a good tip in the 'sour cream egg container' which gives a tip about curling the paper and its a slighter different size to most of the stamping up clips.
Hope this helps. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0
