They do one cheque run around the 20th each month. Anything invoiced before the 20th will be processed and you'll get a cheque through the post towards the end of the month.

The evening upload on RE has begun - new phonecalls on there tonight.
Did I blink and miss something there's nothing new there for me?
I've had no new job opportunities with them for what feels like ages now.( well a good couple of weeks at least !!!)
I'm sick of looking at all the pharmacy jobs and them emailing me telling me how wonderful they are - I did 4 of them beginning of July and it just wasn't worth it. Plus I got fed up with the funny looks I got off the Dr's receptionist when I went in for yet another prescription!!!£10 a day challenge £349.01/£3650

I set up the services for them both but 2 days after he got home from hospital he told them not to come back. He's an independant stubburn git.
He sounds like my Great-Nana. She was very independant and wouldn't have help. She wanted to go to the MetroCentre (huge shopping mall) when it opened, so my Mam and me took her. When we got there, Mam told her to wait in the car and she would go and hire a wheel chair for her. Nana went mad and refused to go in a wheel chair claiming they were for old people. She was 88 at the time! Mam told her she was going in a wheel chair or she was going home, so she reluctantly got in it. Afterwards said she was pleased she had got in it, as she never would have managed walking round :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -
The pharmacy jobs are awful. You spend ages in the shop, and then ages doing the stupid questionnaire that keeps repeating itself. I did 2 and then decided they weren't worth the bother.
On a different note....I have just done a restaurant job for RE tonight and had an awful meal (posh burger and chips) which took 41 minutes after ordering to arrive, and when it did it was oozing blood onto the plate. There was no mention of the long wait when I ordered, and until I stopped the Manager to show them the uncooked, inedible burger, there was no apology either.
Anyway, when I asked for the bill they insisted there was no charge. I said that it was ok, I would pay as I needed the bill for my accounts, but they insisted that the meal was free and produced me a bill with SubTotal on it. So what do I do now? Do I tell RE this, or scan the bill and see what happens?0 -

Some people would have their burger like that (admittedly not me, despite having my steaks medium - sometimes medium rare, I'd not chance it with a burger because of sall the other stuff the from floor of the abbatoir that will be in them!).
Just do the report, explain truthfully what happened and upload the receipt.
All you can do really!0 -

When I say this was uncooked....it really was uncooked . My hubby has his steaks rare and even he said he wouldn't eat a burger as uncooked as this.
Anyway I think you're right, I will phone them tomorrow and see what they say. I must say that any problems I've had with jobs in the past from RE I have found them to be very good with. Thanks for the reply.0 -

Ah, but has he ever had his steak "blue"?
I would like to think that even RE would be ok with the report. Was there a fee attached to it or just reimbursment?0 -
Morning everyone
Monkey - I dont know why your post has disappeared but I did see it yesterday but didnt have time to reply ... For a few minutes I did think you meant it ...and then glad I highlighted the hidden text ... :rotfl::rotfl:! I'm so glad I am still welcome really!
Hello everyone. I have had a bad day but I haven't come on to moan. Sorry I haven't been around but been busy with family illness. Yesterday I had to take my lovely mum to a lawyer to get full power of attorney over her. Not a nice process and I hope none of you ever have to go through it. Mum has rapidly worsening Alzheimers disease and life isn't a bowl of roses at the moment.
I had to do some mystery shopping today as I needed a ME day.
I came on to put a query on about somethingonly to find another nuclear war.UKMonkey I have the greatest respect for you and the many like you who help others so please don't tell me also to b**** off. Could I make a suggestion. I don't know the history between you and the poster you have fallen out with as I have been to busy to come onto the forum much but it might be better rather than slag someone off would be use the abuse button.
Obviously you feel insulted but I often find that totally ignoring people makes more sense as people who have disrupted the forum recently want a reaction. What they hate most is being ignored.
There was me too going to ask your advice about car jobs.:rotfl:Bare sent me a request to do 3 in Brighton. Now that is a bit far from Glasgow but I got another one saying they got Glasgow and Brighton mixed up. ( Easily done). When You advised me about it last time you made it sound easy but my confidence is a bit low just now and I seeem to have mislaid my brain. Scotsbob has probably nicked it.
I will leave it there and post my query in a minute.
And I have missed you all.
Don't worry the nutty HP hasn't gone I just need to press my humour switch back on.
So sorry to hear about your mum HP ... that must be a really really difficult situation. Nooooo definately not another nuclear war on here, I was just asking a new poster here not to make scathing comments .... so please please dont click the abuse button on me or ignore me ..! As you will have seen UKmonkeys post was a humorous one and not serious , although I did nearly fall for it... !
Hope everyone has a good MS day , no work for me today , well no MS work anyway.0
