  • I've tried doing that in the past and it's never worked so I give up with it.

However just for fun I've had another go this morning and (fanfare) smiley-vault-character-202.gif it's only flipping worked!!!
    Thank you.

Why are you against posting GFK alerts? Want to keep all the work for yourself???

Has anyone else noticed the dropped fee for the french sarnies - or was this spoken about a while ago now and I missed the conversation completely!

Yes, I've just noticed these on the job board. I have two of these jobs to do, today and tomorrow, but at the old fee. It's barely worth the effort at the old fee but both branches are only a few minutes walk from my office so I don't mind so much. But at the new fee? Not a chance! Someone else is welcome to them, I've got better things to do in my lunch break! :p

Oh no! Have the lost the supermarkets as well?

It was a type of supermarket visit that he was offering me, not a grocery shop with a million different departments to check, but a visit to a big big supermarket to conduct an enquiry. He was needing it doing ASAP, so that may just be because it just needs doing, or may be because they've lost the contract so are mopping up, I don't know.

No, I'm agaoinst posting alerts for Gfk and Grassroots, as not all jobs are made available for everyone at the same time, and they email you when work is available in your area.

This explains why I can see 20+ credit check jobs, but Brian Damage can't see any in his/her area.

P.S I've only ever done 1 job for Gfk. All they seem to have is bl**dy bank visits!

I don't mind the bank jobs. I've done a few and would rather do them than the mobile phone jobs, where you normally have to hang around for ages before you get served. The last bank job I did was such bad service that I was in and out in 6 minutes....but I still got paid for it :D

The one and only job I've done for Gfk was a phone shop, and the questionnaire was sooo ridiculous, even more so than RE's for similar jobs IMO.
  • I do quite a lot of GFK, and like them a lot.

Their bank visits are easy, and pay well compared to some. And the current email and phone jobs are low pay, yes, but again very easy to do.
