Does anyone know if GFK can tell if you've printed off the brief and questionnaire? I've just accepted a job for tommorrow and my printer's run out of ink after a couple of pages. I was going to write it out by hand but as they say you must print them off I'm hesitating at cancelling instead.

I very much doubt they can, they may be able to tell if you have opened / downloaded the brief, but I can't see how they'd know whether you printed it or not. I wouldn't cancel because of that.

Open it and save it as a file. Then if need be you can print it off when you get ink or refer to it at anytime.

I always print stuff to Adobe pdf, to keep a copy, and the same should work for Microsoft Office Document Image Writer (in the list of printers, so you 'print' it to a file name on your computer - sorry can't be clearer, I'm no techie!). I also seem to have Microsoft XPS Document Image Writer in my list lately.

No idea, but when I saw the email they'd sent round about the phone shops I laughed out loud - why should I bother doing it for such a small fee when I coudl get twice as much for a probably easier report elsewhere!? Won't be doing one of them... ever.

What other companies do phone shops? I thought the fee for gyp ones are ok, not too bad for 15 minutes work and a small report!! Dont beat me down if u dont agree!!!:p

From my experience they are a lot easier to do than other companies and the results are easier to fill out too!!

Thanks, I'll give them a go this time around and see how long they take.
  • The ones on Gap are for a specific network too, so you don't have to go through the scenario of letting the consultant find the best deal for you.

As someone else said, really really straight forward questionnaire too, along the lines of all their other jobs.
