Whoohoo, just had a call from BARE - they've assigned me 6 phone calls to do. This week is going well so far!!
Yesterday, they gave me some van visits to do too.
Well done!! I did 5 of these calls yesterday and they were nice and easy. They marked the reports the same day and I got 10/10 for all 5 reports :T, so that's increased my shopper's rating nicely for future jobs.0 -
I think you need to read Beccles post again ISWMLE.
It does not say that "The meal was awful" is fact. It clearly says it is subjective. And I think we all group salad ingredients together and call them "salad". Since when did you see a menu that said Steak &Chips served with a side of Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber & Celery?
I think to call somebody ridiculous twice when they are just giving an opinion is very rude and totally uncalled for.
"The steak was overcooked" is what it said (not the meal was awful, I misread that) but the answer is still subjective. 'Overcooked' is opinion, not fact.
So I am right.0 -

Having worked as an Assistant Manager in a Restaurant, your steak can be overcooked. There are very specific rules about how a steak should be cooked to order (i.e. rare, medium-rare, medium etc) and if you hand out a medium steak when the customer ordered medium rare then that steak is FACTUALLY overcooked.
A medium steak is a medium steak - it's not a matter of opinion. If you handed me and a group of chefs a steak and asked us to say how well it was cooked - they'd all say the same thing.
I usually don't get involved in any disputes on this thread, but you are being so obnoxious and rude that I'm not surprised that any company wouldn't want you working for them. I certainly wouldn't hire you under any circumstances. I suggest you get off your high horse and start to carefully read briefs and instructions and take any advice that the kind, hard working mystery shoppers on here give you. The guys on here are true professionals and the reason they have built up such good reputations is because they act professionally at all times.
You, do not.

Had a real hard time getting the blinking scales to work, looked like a right numpty in the high street trying to weigh the cup!!
That's right - you don't need to submit a receipt for the coffee jobs.
I always go in the nearest changing rooms to weigh & check the temperature - so try & suss out beforehand the nearest one that you can dive into once you've got the coffee!Within two minutes don't forget!!

On a lighter note, i'm really looking forward to my MS job on Monday. I'll be getting paid to MS and take part in my hobby and there maybe a possibility of winning some money in the process! Fingers crossed lady luck will be on my side and if I don't win, it would not have cost me anything!
There are some positive sides to mystery shopping and it's not all doom and gloom!0 -
Hiya!
I need some help please regarding BARE.
I have done 2 jobs for them now... both stating 'paid'. I never checked the first one and just went looking for this one - neither have been paid to me - all be it my fault!
I copied the IBAN and Swift numbers off a statement of mine all corresponding to my current account. Now I have seen that half the details bare have are for my savings account and half for my current account - account no for current and IBAN and SWIFT for savings!
I am guessing this money is lost now?
I know it's my fault for not double checking - but why has my bank put different account details all on the same sheet of paper?!
Edit:
Ok..found some bank statements... It appears that my BIC, sortcode and Account number match, but I have given them a different IBAN number (which is for my other account)... is there anything I can do?0 -

Remind us again why you came on this forum? Was it really so you can just rant and then have a go at anyone who gives you their valid opinions??0 -
I'm getting totally fed up with having to mark a box and then type exactly the same thing in a comment box to get it to change from red to green, especially when the answer is as straight forward as the example yo give but typing 'Yes the member of staff was wearing a name badge' doesn't contain enough letters so you then have to keep waffling to get the box to turn green. I currently have a Word document ready for each of the shops I regularly do so I can copy and paste over the answers to more than 75% of answers.
That's what happened with me. I did cut and paste my answers in (all full paras) and the box still wouldn't turn from red to green. It kept coming back with - 'more comments requried.' I've had to query RE software twice on these issues.
The software doesn't work properly - it's that simple.0 -

I believe you came on here to express your views and opinions, when you do that you are open to responses, thats all everyone has been doing. Do not start degrading experienced shoppers who have plenty of experience of RE and reports when they are offering advice.
Now thats what I call ridiculous.:money: giving me & my darling boys a better cheaper life:A
