Dolly I have the same issue only problem is i work full time too. Seriously you would think i had asked my OH to cut off and cook his own testicals if i ask him to hoover or put on the WM of do some dishes. Its always I will do them first thing or i will do it later and it never gets done.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

Dolly, pop his dirty clothes in the bottom of his (his side) of the wardrobe. Out of sight, out of mind. He'll soon get the message (my DH did !) lol
You could always do what my mum used to do and chuck them out of the window !:rotfl::jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
Dolly I did that with DH, he never put his clothes in the washing basket and just would leave them in a pile wherever he had taken them off. After several close calls where he nearly ran out of pants he learned. Sometimes he gets a bit lax about it but I just leave them and (if I'm feeling nice) gently remind him of what will happen. He's quite good about it really now. I still haven't found a way to get him to tidy up all his other stuff, put his plate in the kitchen, put empty loo rolls in the recycling, through away empty packets of stuff...perhaps I should chuck them out the window like JTB suggests! LOL!
Have tidied the LR. Don't even have the energy to have a shower and get dressed before my support worker comes. She will just have to take me as she finds me today I'm afraid."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

However I do use mine to heat the kitchen, dry the washing, press lots of the clothes, don't have a microwave, toaster or kettle so try to get the max out of it:o
For me the whole thing is more about waste than anything else, I don't intend to ever have another cooker so in terms of manufacturer, distribution, landfill it helps.
Try to remember the three R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) are in order of important, recycling is really the one but last resort l***fill
I'm the same, of course. I don't ever intend to have another cooker, and it means no need for all of those-quiteshortlived-electrical appliances. The oil consumption though! We are on cool setting for the summer, so not soo bad...
guys what about putting OH's mess in a nice pile where he spends most time (on sofa, in shed, by pc, in car) hard to ignore then! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Cool will maybe give them a try - thanksrosepink1984 wrote: »Elf, I would do baked potatoes, as wouldn’t the potato skewers be too soft and disintegrate?
Oh now I didnt think of that!! I have a BBQ cookbook but its or Aussie origin so the recipes are either stuff I would never cook or cant get here. The baby pot skewers were in there and I thought they sounded nice. Worried about them now! Also they have a carrot and dill rosti in there which sounds lovely but not sure how I would cook in on the BBQ without it falling through........?!

I hate job sites....they are so slow, provide completely irrelevant search result and then crash everytime you try to apply.

I'm back from vets, well have been for a while but it has taken me an age to cool down. I've even had to have another shower, wash hair and put a different set of clothes on because I was so hot..
Well it is good news from the vets, I think lo., He has just got a slight fever - possibly some kind of virus, and some gingivitis (strange as he had his teeth cleaned in february by my friends vet and they didn't pick up on this, )anyway he has a 48 hr antibiotic jab and a steroid jab. I am hoping that this will kick start him into eating again. At the moment he is asleep on his bed at the end of the living room. I did wave the tuna under his nose but he wasn't interested so I shall pop out later and get some really smelly cat food and tempt him with this.. Although the vet did mention something about boiled chicken, not sure I could face boiling chicken though..does anyone have any thing that they can recommend instead of this. Would a pre cooked chicken work instead..?
Off to declutter a couple of beef rolls for lunch. Was supposed to have a friend round for lunch as we arranged yesterday, but she has let me down and hasn't even rung to telephone me. I have rung her at home a couple of times and got no answer, and she hasn't switched her mobile phone on so can't take messages either. Oooh that really makes me mad when you arrange something and then don't keep to it or let someone know you can't make it.
Triker how did you get on at the Drs hon?
Kazwookie what on earth are you going to be using the cement breaker for, it sounds dangerous..?
Oooh also conquered my fear of spiders, and squished the biggest one you could find in the bedroom - it was huge, about 3 inches from end to end.. I dread to think what the neighbours thought they as I was squealing while squishing it..lol Then had to get it off DH's shoe before he notices tonight..lol Is it me or are the spiders mutating this year, I swear they are the biggest I have seen..
