Soappie love have you had a delivery today?
Washing out on line blowing like a dream. Valli have you been and fetched a costume yet ?
Elf
My friend and i have an understanding when we are either out or in if the child misbehaves or does something wrong naughty etc the one who see's it sorts it.
It is a nataurak thing for us as we have bought the kids up together and it has worked well for us.
I know what you mean though i have another friend and we don't go there any more and i don't have her here as too many toys were broken and too much stuff annoyed me and i was not allowed to tell her child off.
The worst time was when my sis in laws child grabbed my sons face and gouged a great chunk out of it. I told her son off and she went mad at me for doing so. Her exact words were 'I do the telling off not you' We went home to sort out ds. A few days later we went back to his mums and said sis in law asked what have you been up to. I just said calmly he was playing nicely then your son decided to attack him. She did not know that he had done this she could not apologise enough but by then it was too late.
Don't take this from people who come to house they are guests and should treat it, you and your children with respect and tell her so. If she is a friend she will understand.

no I don't. I was using the term relaxed losely but really meant 'can't be bothered to teach their children manners in their own house let alone someone elses.'
I would either have to tell them not to do it in front of her or
a)not give them food when they are round
b)meet up somewhere else-park maybe?
I too would be on my soapbox (although can't find the smilie) if anyone had done that in my house. Bad enough for a child to do it but for th mother to know about it and not apologise, make their children apologise tidy up is despicable.January Grocery 11/3740 -

Soappie hun you've gone all incoherent, you are definitely not well! I on the other hand have just eaten a stale doughnut so must be fine!
Elf - when other people's kids are here all food and drink are consumed at the kitchen table or in the garden and not on my carpets and sofas.
