I'm back - Monday - All done :j:j:j:j:j:j:j
although not washed the curtains as have 'wash all the nets' on my list for next month and the main curtains will be dry cleaned; instead I've catalogued another pile of discs - I'm getting to the point where I stand a small chance of finding something!... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

please don't ever let me let my oven get like this again - i used mr muscle on it this morning(only had a tiny bit left) and this afternoon i used astonish on it, have been scrubbing like a mad woman for almost an hour, while trying to make a curry and it stil doesn't look any cleaner!! i must have srubbed half an inch of grease off it:o gonna give it another go tonight with the astonish and see what happens, need to clean all the shelfs as well as they are covered in grease, might put them in the bath with some soda crystals and some wash powder over night and then give them a scrub in the morning!
i wish i had listened to you and bought some oven pride but thought i would use up stuff i already had in first
anyhow as i have been scrubbing the oven all afternoon, i haven't done much else so i had better get on with doing something!
I have a suggestion for you.......Lakeland oven cleaner....it's fab and NO scrubbing.
Flyingwise...none here either....four kids all day saw to that. Will do a quick lounge tidy in a minute as they're about to eat tea.

Back from interview absolutely shattered. It was very hard and tiring plus lots of things went wrong out of everyone's control. One of those days eh?!
Over and done with now and feel so shattered now will struggle to put some tea on, could just sleep now.
Flying today - just ironed this morning, paper decluttered into recycling and sofa quilt washed and drying.

Have had quite a productive afternoon:
dusted the whole flat
filled watering can
stripped bed
tidied LR floor
put away washing up that I'd washed up earlier
got washing out of machine and put next to airer
made DH do 5 mins table tidying (he actually did about 10 so that's good)
Gave DH ultimatum re tool box and scuzzy old cool bag
hung out washing
remade bed apart from quilt cover
Very pleased with that. This evening I need to have a bath, water my plants, and do a bit more washing up. Might write some cards too, am in the mood.
Still not read much of the thread, am 5 pages behind so far. DH has been playing his game all afternoon so couldn't get on here!
Soappie, try to rest today and I hope you are soon on the mend.
Hope you feel better soon Dusty and everyone else who is poorly

Not too much left to do:j Couldnt believe how dirty sofa was:eek: Have had a word with hubby about it, he comes home from working in a garage and then sits down on my cream leather sofa without getting changed:mad: Problem is he works evening/night shifts so i'm in bed and cant tell him to move his dirty bum off the sofa. He has promised to get changed before sitting down in future. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
