Hi all,

I've hung some washing out.

Moved some cardboard from one end of the garden to the other so it can be dumped.

Made brunch.

Put soda crystals through d/w and w/m to clear them out and get rid of bad smells. Also down the plugholes.

Signed off sick for a week self cert.

Rang uni re course.

Will catch up later xx

elf06 I don't ever let the kids eat in the sitting room with their friends, and it's nothing special, I just don't want to end up feeling stressed about the mess.
Sometimes having children brings new friends, or brings the old ones closer, and sometimes it drives friends apart. Just 'cos she has children of ages with yours, it doesn't mean you will automatically be best mates. Sorry your're stressed, hon.

Kids have collected up all the wind fall wild plums for me, just need to decided what to do with them - yellow ones and no not jam, we have enough jam.

Hugs Cy - I know exactly how you feel. It's probably what I've got. My DD had it diagnosed last week, then my DS down with something, now me and DD's bloke have got something v. similar.

Thank you for the first - and you're so wrong about the second!

Have just got up after having gone to bed for an hour or so. Felt quite perky for about 5 minutes but then have gone down rapidly since. Hey ho, I'll go get the blanket and the book from the garden and stow the hammock away. Looks like we're going to get rain shortly.

Have told the kids they can get their own dinner.

Has anyone heard from Toots? Has she managed to make her escape today?

can someone please KICK me??

please don't ever let me let my oven get like this again - i used mr muscle on it this morning(only had a tiny bit left) and this afternoon i used astonish on it, have been scrubbing like a mad woman for almost an hour, while trying to make a curry and it stil doesn't look any cleaner!! :mad: i must have srubbed half an inch of grease off it:o gonna give it another go tonight with the astonish and see what happens, need to clean all the shelfs as well as they are covered in grease, might put them in the bath with some soda crystals and some wash powder over night and then give them a scrub in the morning!
i wish i had listened to you and bought some oven pride but thought i would use up stuff i already had in first

anyhow as i have been scrubbing the oven all afternoon, i haven't done much else so i had better get on with doing something!
