It would be great to meet up Mrs Harket. Have you been to many of their concerts? My sister is a dedicated fan. You aren't too far from me on the train.
Anyway need to go to the doctors soon. have to take the children and not looking forward to it. Needs must though.January Grocery 11/3740 -
RANT ALERT
Ok so I am not sure if this is me being slightly OCD or just plain unreasonable BUT I had friends round this morning and had a picnic indoors. I like people to come to a clean house so had hoovered LR and generally given it a once over so it looked ok. My pals DD and DS always manage to wreck the place and get it totally covered in food while she just sits there and goes 'woops' and 'oh dear' but makes no attempt to stop it or clean up. Today her DS covered my sofa in cheese, chocolate and juice and she just sat there. Last week when the visited she let him chew my sons books and I cant even begin to tell you how many things have been broken! I would never let my DS so that to his stuff never mind anyone elses. Now dont get me wrong accidents happend but this is unreal. Also my DS is a boy (go figure) and is a little bit wild. No angel but deffinately not a bully but he will take toys off pals DD. Her DD just cries at everything and I really mean everything and I am constantly telling off my DS for not doing much wrong. However when her DD does something to my DS she doesnt bat an eyelid and he is left upset while she gets no row or consequences!!!!!
OK RANT OVER
On a flying note my list is looking ok (although sofa is going to need some serious cleaning!!) and I am about to start HHC (in kitchen - picnic plates etc) 1.45-2.15 if anyone cares to join me??
Heres the list at the moment

i remember when DS was six months old and he was sick round there house. I was mortified and that was something that I couldn't help, although |I did tidy it up as much as I could.
This woman appears to have no manners. TBH I would have to say something. what is her house like?January Grocery 11/3740 -
painting my fence
just having a tea break and a catch up!
I last did it with creosote (which is no longer available) in 1999
It's a sort of brown this time (am using Focus's own because since I can't get quality stuff I am not paying more than I have to. By quality stuff I mean the fragrant but lethal creosote)
(sighs as used to test it and used to be able to get it free....)[/quote]
If we do go away I think it will be Devon - north actually. Am considering Woolacombe...
Well let me know... I'll be in south devon (near where SS was at Easter!)0 -
elf.. don't invite them round!!! I really dislike other peoples children who think they can do as they please just because they are in someone elses home and will try to get away with things they wouldn't dare do at home. I would be telling the 'friend' .. oh the cloth to clear that up is just on the side in the kitchen.. and make her do it.. she'll soon get the idea when she is leaping up and down clearing her childrens mess!! Also, my other trick... DD has just made my son cry doing x,y,z.. or just blatantly tell off her daughter.. if she doesn't like it tell her she should have doe it then!! you don't have to be harsh with her daughter just a simple.. 'you have made DS sad now look that wasn't very nice was it, let's say sorry and all be friends and play nicely!' I send mine round to others houses and rarely have any back in return until they get to about 12 and I can tell them off harshly lol.
I may move and go get brekkie.. I am rather peckish.

did my HHC. Cleaned out a kitchen cupboard as it was chaos in there! Washed up bottles/recycling & cats bits. Sorted out clean washing pile.
Need to do a HHI at some point as todays loads of washing will create more ironing to add to my pile I already have.
Baby is awake but playing atm.
Elf, I have a 7 & 9 year old as well as the baby. No way would I let my kids spill & be messy in my house let alone someone elses. Her kid will grow up to be really bratty.
Mumofjusttwo, I have seen them quite a few times. And met them.
Where do you live then? PM me if you don't want to put it on here
Right, off to try & do a HHI with a whingy baby. He's not due a feed yet so he can whinge all he likes ;o)
