W has a floor in his room!!! And it's hoovered :p it looks loads better than it did but the toys are all just shoved in the toy box and in a couple of bags for now.

Need to some in Miss A's room, will get her to help as well. I need to put the camp bed frame in the garage so she has more room, will put the mattress in a vacuum bag and put that in the loft.

the friend I have impressed with my bike fixing is female and she does the delicate flower trick and makes her ex come and decorate for her ... on the grounds that he treated her badly (he did! IMHO he did the very worst thing a husband can do to a wife actually) so she feels he owes her for putting her through what he put her through (and TBH I agree - also his kids have had to put up with it...)
    anyway
since AnWs mum said it was going to be nice today round here in Valliland I have decided to get on with a task I have been meaning to do for many a long year...and am ***drum roll** now half way through ***trumpets sound***
    painting my fence
just having a tea break and a catch up!
I last did it with creosote (which is no longer available) in 1999

It's a sort of brown this time (am using Focus's own because since I can't get quality stuff I am not paying more than I have to. By quality stuff I mean the fragrant but lethal creosote)
(sighs as used to test it and used to be able to get it free....)

10 panels 4 about 6ft tall (back) and 6 about 6ft tall (side) Other side belongs to the best neighbours in the world. Their fence is green but since mine has some residual brown on I dont think (in fact I am absolutely certain) green would have worked.

DS is off car washing. S'pose I should pay them to wash mine it needs it!

If we do go away I think it will be Devon - north actually. Am considering Woolacombe...

well so far I have sorted out some carp in the livingroom emptied bins, did the brekkie dishes and put away last nights tea dishes and pots. I plan to get a load of washing out on the line, get whats left in the basket on to wash then have lunch. After lunch I will get ironing away thats sitting on the sofa sort out some more carp and paperwork, Polish the glass TV unit as I could literally write my name in dust then sort out the splashs on the hob from last nights chili .

    Thankyou !

    Welcome to my world ...

I have decided I fancy some celery soup so I'm going to make some for lunch before you all shout at me, all I have to do is a bit of washing and chopping of veg and then stick them in a saucepan with a bit of water and a stock cube. Then while it's cooking, I'm going to set the hammock up in the garden and doze..

Dusty - sit down with a nice cuppa and have a rest for a while - your not well - stop trying to do too much, it makes you worse, you need to relax and de-stress. Can you tell the children that you don't feel well and that they need to play quietly and nicely for a little while whilst Mummy tries to get better [pay them if you have to!] Hope you feel better soon

Soappie - hope you get to feel better soon, well done on trying to take it easy

    Morning everyone,

Plodding along very nicely here (first day at flying !) About 2/3 of way through the list - it's taking me a bit longer than most, there's a lot to do :o and a good few months of not tackling the 'deep cleaning'.

Nets are back up in living room and first lot of curtains just about to go back (double aspect windows in living room so 2 sets of curtains and nets to wash). Second lot of curtains on the line, and the curtains at bottom of stairs window are in WM (also double windows at bottom of stairs and landing so one more lot to do) - thinking how come I started flying on the hardest day :rotfl::p.

Paintwork in living room all washed down (doors, frames and skirting boards), hoovering in hallway and living room done, behind and under sofa cushions hoovered.

I'm just popping out for a few hours (kids need some new jeans for holiday next week) but will be back later and will finish off then.

Is it quite sad to be excited about what the list will be for tomorrow? ! :o:p
